What about Aryas homie, the shape shifter? He might be a good fighter. He's definitely the greatest assassin. Right?
The greatest we have seen yet. He belongs to an order (faceless men), so who knows. And we haven't seen him fight, could be all tricks and magic. But his assassinations are definitely bad ass..
Wow, 4 years ? Didn't realise that. Westeros and its weird seasons...
Edit : Just checked a wiki, story starts with him being 14 and 2 years have passed. So 16 it is apparently.
You can't take the ages too literally, they had to make some of the characters older to have better actors and to not have underaged sex in the show. Like looking strictly at the timeline both Dany and Jon would be teenagers, but they are obviously shown as being adults.
Jon Snow said Robb was better than him at everything, including swordsplay, and it's not like anyone considered Robb one of the best fighters. Jon had formal training by the best in the north though, so it's expected that he's way ahead of someone who just picked up a sword.
As for the ages - I think we just assume it's ~1yr per season. Martin himself has said that one of his biggest regrets was making many of the characters so young. So it's probably safe to completely ignore the books and simply use your eyes as the best gauge of someone's age. Because you're not convincing me Jon Snow right now is 16; he looks 18 at the minimum, possibly even older. Meanwhile Jaime, Oberyn, etc is supposed to be 40+...
EDIT: One of the possible explanations is that a "year" is longer in GoT land, so someone who's 14 there may have lived equivalent of 16+ years. Who knows - it's not important.

Oh yeah, agreed, he definitely looks older. I was referring to the books, which doesn't make sense considering what you've just said.
Found some site that doing some rankings about fighters who can beat The Mountain
here is their list:
10. Robert Baratheon (young) 9. Daario Naharis 8. Jaqen H'ghar 7. Sandor "The Hound" Clegane 6. Oberyn "Red Viper" Martell 5. Syrio Forel 4. Jamie Lannister (before chopped hand) 3. Khal Drogo <-- I kinda disagree with this one 2. Baristan Selmy 1. Arthur Dayne ( he is dead tho)
The actor for the Mountain is one of the strongest men in the world (#3 I believe). He is 6'9 and 400 pounds, and a former professional basketball player (before an injury). Long story short, you're not getting someone physically more intimidating than this guy between his combination of speed, agility, and strength.
I suspect the reason they kept changing the Mountain actors was because of this scene. And since he's had no previous acting experience, he doesn't talk much, which is actually perfect for the character.

I mean, I tend to stay away from this discussion, as in GoT the best warrior is honestly not that clearly defined. This isn't like an anime where there's clear tiers of character strength. But what the fuck, Daario doesn't belong here. In fact, I'm going to just swap the head crush scene with Oberyn/ Ellaria, with Daario/Dany in my mind, so much more enjoyable :D

If the rest of the unsullied have a similar ability with the spear as Grey Worm and any experience against armored foes (which is kinda likely, because they are training for war every day since they are kids) I'd say there are a few (hundred?) unsullied who would give the mountain a good fight.
Grey worm, Jorah and someone else took down like the whole guard of a city and survived to tell the tale lol

Dont see any point in that list, since we clearly saw Oberyn Martell beat him quite easily.
He sure didn't look like a winner to me.
Since the list is all about theory, and not reality (just looking on the names there, we can see some already dead folks) - would you put your money on the Mountain if they were due to rematch?
