At first i tried to disregard the though of the writers introducing a random character just to stir things up in the dexters secret life, but after this episode it's obvious that they did just that, and unlike in previous seasons where similar characters were introduced this Llll...something is far less refined and... yea its not like the writers are even trying to save the story from falling into this cliche theme, because at the moment it all boils down to "i can't avenge rita's death, but i can help her because shes like me" ;/ I just hope that the writers still have something up their sleeves, because i dont want to see dexter and Llll...something get married and become one happy killer family, all born in blood etc.

For me Season 4 lacked something that made it not enjoyable to watch. I hated when dexter prolonged killing trinity killer.

After boyd kills his last victim he tags another lock with the number 12 (and puts it into his little notebook, right after 11). Not sure where you got 63 from.

I didn't disagree about that guy just being a rapist. edit: and technically it didn't look like this guy was involved in the actual murdering. Boyd had the setup and disposal to himself. This guy would likely be guilty of several counts of kidnapping, rape and accessory to murder, though that would still fit the code anyway (just like the wife of the coyote).

I'm downloading season 1 right now...So I'm willing to give it a chance. Though other shows like 24, heroes, lost, etc never appealed to me at all. Heroes and Lost are complete crap compared to Dexter. 24 was good in its own right in the earlier seasons but more as a guilty pleasure action movie turned into a serial TV show. Dexter is something altogether different.

Um, Dexter very much realizes that already, and he's fine with it.

He's decidedly not fine with her killing innocent men, since he stopped her from killing that guy under the bridge. If she ever slipped from revenge into killing innocents, that would release him from his turmoil as he would have an excuse to kill her and remove the liability she represents.

I think she is using him to kill her rapists. She doesnt abide by his code, thats what makes him upset. He is a perfectionist and she is driven by emotion. I have a feeling a big twist is going to happen soon. I wont if Rita`s kids are ever going to make another appearance?

But he knows she has a "dark passenger" and as long as she kills people who deserve it, he'll not stop her. Assuming she'll kill innocents after the rape ring is dead, that's a big assumption. It might happen but we don't know that it will.
