He didn't call 911, he called a friend.

I don't think he called 911, he was calling his homie with whom he raped Lumen. The thing I think was sketch is that the plastic wrap guy had like just died a few seconds before they walked in. Seems like they would have known with their mad homicide investigation skills or something.
Also Dexter must be in crazy good shape to chase down that guy, strangle him, and not be at all out of breath.

Dexter and breaking bad are the 2 best shows on TV right now.
However, the latest season has been a bit lame. To much drama and not enough killing.

Noone goes CSI on crime scenes in real life. What cop would try to lower their case closing rate and spend tax payer money, increase their own workload by digging deeper into the obvious? Also tox screens cost money so i dont think they'd be ordered in this situation although thats pure speculation.

Completely agree with what you said. But atleast this season is getting better with every episode, and the last episode was definitely the best one (gotta love Masuka hahaha). And it seems that there will be some good ol' killing in near future.

I interpreted it as part of his perverted interpretation, that the hose was up a butt. Besides, Dexter would've surely wiped the hose with his shirt to smudge any finger prints like I'm sure he did with the gun before putting internet predator's prints on it.

He was implying that it was shoved up inappropriate areas.

Ya, after ep6 it seems like that's why they gave her that name lol.

Dexter is definitely a top 3 show for me as well. Dexter is so different from all other shows i´ve seen, i really enjoy it and it keeps getting better for every episode.

I'm disappointed with how things are progressing. Dexter kills rapists now? He sent her to his former home? Lumen is a problem, he should kill her. And Julia Stiles cannot act.
|
I agree he should just turn around and kill Lumen, would be an awesome twist =)
|
Yeah that ended really sloppy I mean I hope at least someone looks into that crime scene (shit, now that I think of it Quinn probably will) and is like "wtf, none of this makes any sense."
The ending was like "Well we gotta wrap this one up, Masuka do your thing and hopefully no one will care."
Oh well I still love Dexter.

After all if she's nice and we emphasize with her how can Dexter possibly kill her when he realizes that she has become a serial killer and is killing innocent men because its the only way she can find "inner peace" in the season's finale?

That is actually some really good thinking. I was starting to think she and Dexter would end up together since she is also a bit psycho now, but it will be really cool/tragic if Dexter ends up having to kill her in the end since she can't stop herself from killing anymore. It would be partly his fault for helping her kill all the bad guys and turning her into a serial killer like him, but she doesn't have the code like he does. However, this is probably too similar to the other season (3 I think), where he ends up killing his friend the crazy mayor.

It's the exact same plot with Prado, except the protege is a girl instead of a guy now. Sure, there are some minor differences, but overall they're far too similar. I don't know if I should trust whether the writers are going somewhere good with this or not.

Aftert thinking about what you said, they do seem more similar than I thought them to be. Their station/jobs in life are somewhat different. They both want to justice, even though Julia's seems more on a personal level.

Or maybe Julia Stiles is such a good actor you dont realize she is acting and cant handle that. Na your right. Also, the guy Dexter killed didnt just rape her, he tortured her. I think that satisfied the code. I dont really care as I dont think any of Dexters killings are morally justified.
I agree the smart thing to do would be to kill her but the problem is that would violate the code. And the show needs a replacement for Rita.
The ending did have a kinda of Brandy-Bunch forced quality to it were all the problems are magically solved. I do think that you have to keep the show from becoming too clutter. First Quinn was suspicious, then that died down. Then last episode. The key is to have minor problems that are resolved that episode, but add to a larger problem that lasts the season.

I disagree Dex isn't gonna have Lumen be his protege, especially after miguel and how his work got rita killed. She's not a killer but she wants her enemies dead and Dexter can do that without having her come on every kill. Her motivation isn't bloodlust but justice, and its obvious that she is inexperienced and not comfortable with killing. Lumen is a completely different character from miguel prado so I can't see why you think this is going to be a rehash of season 3 unless the writers are completely retarded.
