I don't mind most of the characters, except Laguerta and Batista's while in their relationship mood. Good side characters imo. All the 'bad guys' were good as well except the skinner, he was kinda redneck. + Show Spoiler + But holy shit I knew something was wrong when he entered the house but I never would've guessed Rita being dead. Awesome set-up for the new season. I wonder what Dexter will do. Smart confident analyzing Dexter would get rid of the body and claim Rita missing. Dumb emotional Dexter will let them find Rita. Would open up a whole can of worms for sure. | ||

Didn't like the final. Don't like such "oh but hey it just happened so". Rita died just because of bad luck. Doaks died jsut because of incredible bad luck. It's not like Dexter already have enough troubles, The killer was hanging out in the head quarter for quite a long time, Batista saw him and dexter talk... My prediction for the future season + Show Spoiler + I have the very strange feeling that they will just wipe out all this mess and magically start from nothing. Like they did with Doakes. It will be just a bad compromise to get the routine back and stay in the same crew. Good move would be to change city, get rid of the kids maybe just keeping his baby. (like sending them to their grandparents or something). But yeah I think like the previous prediction. Dexter has totally been set up as a bad husband who killed his wife and tried to disguise it as a suicide. Quinn will be the next Doakes. I'm really not exited about the coming season... Hope Ill catch on, ive been a huge fan till now | ||

Though I liked Doakes a lot more :/ I hope they don't get rid of other characters. such as trinitys family and the kids... theres lots of interesting stuff to do with them.. | ||

I was under the impression that they thought removing key characters wasn't a good move after season 2. Suprirsed they're comfortable with getting rid of Rita. | ||

So I just rewatched the last episode again and my god that final scene with Dexter and Trinity made so much sense suddenly, you could see the surprise in Trinity`s eyes when he realized Dexter did not know that Rita was dead and there was another reason for him killing him. Now I really wonder what they have planned for the next season | ||
