Hmm I think her hotness did kind of a U curve. It started out insane in seasons 1-2 but in 3-6 I think it took a sharp nosedive. Things started looking promising again in season 7 and she just gave me a boner in the season 8 trailer.

Ugh the trailer makes it look so boring.
Why can't the last season step outside of the usual CSI pattern? Screw the police side arcs, just have a giant game of cat and mouse between the department and Dexter. People slowly catching on and Dexter trying to take them out and tie up loose ends, but really only prolonging his demise.

I'm going to guess that Dexter runs away by faking his death somehow. Anything works for me as long as Dexter doesn't die, like already said by above, death is too predictable. But I'm not the producer so *shrugs*. Really looking forward to this.

1,2,4 really. From 5 onwards it's been terrible, I don't think I'll even bother with season 8.

Hard to believe there's already been 7 seasons, can't wait for the season premier. I have to agree with previous posters, I hope this season will be dark and hopefully a lot of characters die

I felt that the first episode was a slow start, but predictably sets up some upcoming conflicts. The Dr. knowing about Dexter from minute one was surprising. I'm looking forward to the return of Yvonne Strahovski!
