http://screenrant.com/dexter-season-8-characters-plot-details/ Judging by that, they're slating for season 8 to play out like season 7 did in terms of enemies. I like it a bit better this time though, since they are throwing a lot of elements at Dexter this time. His stealth/sneakiness, psyche, and emotional balance will all be put to the test if those 3 adversaries will make appearances. 7 was insane due to the amount of problems they threw at Dexter from the get-go. Isaak, Deb, LaGuerta, and Louis. But 8 will be providing more diversity to me. Also, note that this resumes in June, not fall. | ||

On January 12, 2013 it was revealed that Season 8 of Dexter would be moved from its originally planned Autumn airing to the Summer of 2013. Season 8 will begin on Sunday, June 30, 2013. Source | ||

A sagittal plane, being a plane parallel to the sagittal suture, divides the body into sinister and dexter (left and right) portions. So, by naming the show and main character Dexter, is someone trying to convey the impression that he is the opposite of sinister? Or perhaps the sinister/Dexter duality is on display. Either way, I was excited to find this out! | ||

And a little sneak peek as well! Not sure how I feel about the sneak peek. I really hope they go full steam into Deb being emo and crap for most of the season. But she obviously has a big role to play this season which makes me nervous because I reallyyyy started to hate her in the last season or two. | ||
