The trailer itself was way better than the whole episode. Even if i didn't like Laguerta that much, her being dead just means no one in the world can harm dexter right now, doesn't feel right at all, at every moment dex had someone on his back, and i just don't see who's going to take that role now. Allways been excited for every next season of dexter since season 1, right now i don't expect that much of the next one, hope the writers got something amazing to come up with cause i just don't see where this is going from now : /

The gasoline would make probable cause I guess so Dexter could just assume it would be granted and when it was granted he would be fucked. And for some reason I really like Dokes!

No one used their phone anywhere near the crime scene. Phone GPS won't do shit if no call was made. Now, the fact that Deb completely botched Dexter's crime scene by using a different gun than the one used on Estrada, is a whole 'nother issue....

He just somehow "learned" that. After 30 years of not knowing he just learned it. Also, I have no idea how people can appreciate or love this development. How is this good writing? I can write that as well, but good writers make it believeable. The writers of Dexters are just like... meh.... let's just stop make Dexter stop being socially ackward and focus on other stuff, and then they go on and make completely irrelevant side stories eveyr single season. I found this season to be more entertaining than the last season which was absolutely horrible, but I don't credit the writers for this. The "Dexter-story" is so interesting that any season where he almost gets caught, no matter the quality of the writing, will be very interesting. I can't help but relate this to Blizzard and Sc2. The developers (e.g. Dustin Browder) aren't competent and made a shitton of makes, but the "starcraft"-concept is a receipe for success, and thus they can get away with being incompetent. Also if you have ever watched Breaking Bad, you will found the character development in Dexter laughable. Have you been watching Dexter at all ![]() Dex has been trying to fit in with other people his whole life. He only recently started becoming a non-sociopath when he met Rita, who really brought him out of his slump that he called his life. Before then he was completely empty. Think back to the episode of the gay kid who got raped and killed himself. He admits he knew exactly how he felt until he found a way to "control" it, by killing people. He isn't like that anymore. Dexter has been maturing over 7 seasons into what he really is now, someone who enjoys his life and doesn't want to lose what he has. Also, you have to really feel for Deb. She has to kill someone she loves more than anything in the world (Especially proven since the endings of season 6) or kill someone in cold blood she knows is innocent. Either way she is screwed, in that situation there is no logical thinking going on at all (The rational thought is to let Dexter do his thing, but who would be in their right mind in this situation). Also, the sloppy crime scene leads brilliantly into Season 8. I loved this episode, I felt they did everything spot on with what they needed to.

Deb: "You're a liar and a murderer" Hannah: -"Well at least I'm not a hypocrite" I think it says a lot about the way Hannah (and Dexter, seeing as he's a serial killer as well) look at life. Way to have your priorities straight :D
