The "Dexter-story" is so interesting that any season where he almost gets caught, no matter the quality of the writing, will be very interesting. I can't help but relate this to Blizzard and Sc2. The developers (e.g. Dustin Browder) aren't competent and made a shitton of makes, but the "starcraft"-concept is a receipe for success, and thus they can get away with being incompetent. Also if you have ever watched Breaking Bad, you will found the character development in Dexter laughable. | ||

Why would LaGuerta go to the Port ALONE?! The first time she had Backup-officers ... now she got a CALL from a Missing (presumed Dead) guy that calls for help, yet she goes there alone? wtf? Thats bad writing I guess °_° that flaw was maybe inevitable to let the story continue that way. | ||

Also, I'm wondering about how they're gonna explain LaGuerta's death... she just suddenly "disappears" one night. They also tracked her squad car to the port and afterwards is then never seen again. They can't leave the bodies just like that either, since she was shot with Deb's gun instead of Estrada's. My hunch is that next season Mathews is going to be the guy to investigate Dex. | ||

Everything Dexter has done in season 7 has been done in the interest of himself but also Deb. Protecting Deb has been hardencoded into his brain. | ||

What was funny as hell to me though was the kids he paid off in the park to lure Estrada to the parking lot. Estrada's chasing the kids near Dexter's car, Dexter intercepts him and swipes him into his car. Those kids are like... what, two seconds away from him? Similar to Breaking Bad and how the drug cartels were just ridiculous caricatures. The stupidity makes me cringe sometimes, but as along as the story comes out unscathed I'll look the other way. | ||
