The problem I had with season five was that Jordan Chase and his not-so-lovable band of misfits weren't all that scary or on-par with Dexter. They just seemed corny. Dexter's brother, Doakes, the Skinner, Prado, and the Trinity Killer were all guys that knew wtf they were doing and proved challenging to Dexter. I'm pretty sure the most challenging aspect for Dexter in season 5 was Liddy, who was just pissed that he got fired for being a shitty cop. Not to mention Jordan Chase stopped murdering people once Dexter came after him. All the other guys didn't even give a fuck. These new guys, though, have that evil villain touch back. Hatching snakes in a dude's rotting corpse? Fuck yeah. | ||
