Colin Hanks has been apparently cast for the upcoming season's primary villain. As much as I want to hold judgement, I can't help but groan as I can't stand his poor acting and awkward facial expressions.

o god. I didn't know Colin hanks name until now but i do recognize him and i've hated every role he has ever played.

He is kinda good in the show "The Good Guys",but not that great.

I don't even know who this Colin Hanks guy is...hopefully he's not as bad as you guys make him sound. If only we could get another quality actor like John Lithgow.

Really excited for season 6.
Really loved the lumen/dexter romance and was heartbroken to see it end in such a crappy way.
Really interested in seeing how the dexter and quinn story progresses now that they both share a secret. Referring to any character as the villain of the show just seems weird to me because the main character is a serial killer. Hope the show lives up to the quality of the past 5 seasons =)

Dexter is a show that i feel gets better and better with each season. It's funny to see that this thread started in 07' and the show is still one of the best ones out there. I just hope that they cont. to make more seasons.

Agreed. Season 1 and 4 had great build-up, tension, and villains. The stakes felt much higher (although season 2 had high stakes as well of course) and there was more mystery.

I really don't think they can recapture the power of season 1 or 4 without doing something series-ending. Everything seems like padding until then.

Edit: Not like Season 2 and 5 weren't good and awesome and Dexter-ish. They were, but they just weren't the same...

before his season I wouldnt have expected John Lithgow to be a really good bad guy.
