I was always curious how they were going to continue the show. I had heard that the actress that plays deb and michael C hall had a very bad divorce or something and were having trouble working together. If that's just hearsay though I'll be happy.

Yea looks like they skipped season 5 completely during this promo lol. I'm kinda glad they're threating it as a intermission season or whatever it was, not that I hated it, but it was bellow the level of the others.

Anyways, It's sad that every year about this time I remember that dexter exists and lose the will to watch any other tv show that is not dexter!

man i didnt think 5 was nearly as bad as everyone else. i mean far from the best, but better than 3 imo. i loved the main bad guy and his initial attempt at innocence, and that his bodyguard was in it. the relationships between the characters were sweet to me.

that teaser is a bit disapointing. basically it's just a recap of all previous seasons and doesnt say anything about the next one. doesn't really "tease" me

I liked season 5, it was imo better then season 3 by far!

Julia stiles alone made it worth watching,

Lumen was awesome, then she leaves in the most silly, lame and poorly written way possible. Great season except for the last 2 episodes. About Rita I could care less, she was always a nothing but a boring excuse to sneak some drama in.

This TV series is my absolute favorite series in the world (even own the DVDs ^^). Season 4 is definitely my favorite, although Season 5 I think had my heart racing just so much more, the buildup was great. I've been dying for Season 6 since the end of Season 5, it just can't come soon enough..

I'm surprised there are people shitting on season 5. I thought it was better than seasons 3 and 4. The only part that bothered me was how Lumen left. Season 5 had such an interesting story.

About the trailer, it didnt show anything from season 6. I'm not sure why people think it was one of Dexter's kids who said that one line, when it is clearly Dexter. The line is from season 2 when he confronts the man that killed his mother.

Eh, the seasons are really different.

The first half of season 4 was a really, really slow and tedious build up to the second half which was absolutely incredible.

Season 5 went up and down quality-wise too often, the writers went from bad, to worse, to brilliant to terrible in the space of an episode at times.

I'm looking forward to season 6, but nowhere near as excited for it as I am for boardwalk empire, breaking bad, and each week's episode of the killing and game of thrones.
