+ Show Spoiler + It just dawned on me that if Harry Morgan cheated on his wife with Dexter's actual mom, and is his real father, is it possible that Brian (The Ice Truck Killer) is also Harry's actual son? If so, then him sleeping with Deb would be incest.....Wouldn't it? just a thought. | ||

Harry took him because he was young enough to not remember entirely and still 'saveable' while Brian was too old and too far gone. | ||

And considering Brian killed him... I'm pretty sure Brian knew for certain as well. | ||

Kind of off the subject, but I have a big problem with Deb's vulgarity. Seems a little unnecessary, does her gross use of the f word bother anybody else? Not that I'm afraid of vulgarity, but at some point it stops seeming like she's really trying to act. | ||

If deb had found out at this point, I think it would really roadblock the writers for making something awesome for season 6 and beyond. Notice the ending scene of the finale, Deb tells Dexter something along the lines of "I'm glad this is all over aren't you?" After this, perhaps she did know it was him. Maybe she didn't, but it left that possibility. Maybe instead of looking at Dexter season by season, look at it as a whole. How they do certain things to carry the series along. Sure season 5 wasn't the best season, but it was needed to answer our questions from season 4, not create new questions. | ||

This previous season was just there, aside from him reconciling with Rita's children almost nothing of this season will be relevant in the next. | ||
