Well, he did telegraph his last-minute plan to usurp Obito's position, entirely unnecessarily mind you, to his best friend and strongest rival. Either that's what this is, kinda like Itachi did with Sasuke, OR, he's just a typical not-very-interesting villain. The latter seems more likely, but it's not for sure yet. They do give us a way of sympathizing with Madara, since his whole impetus for everything is the cruel shinobi world, which took his 4 brothers away from him, so he's not as flat and dimensionless as, say, Aizen, or Frieza. Considering he's on par with Orochimaru and Tobirama in terms of intelligence, given his cultivation of Hashirama's cells to develop both Zetsu and the Rinnegan, he could feasibly have this planned out to such a scary extent. I'd like for that to be the case, since it wouldn't be such a one-sided ending, where the good guys kill the bad guys, and everyone else lives happily ever after. | ||

Besides, senjutsu is just a fancy way saying "being able to sense and absorb natural energy." Juugo and Sasuke aren't sages, they are just using the same type of energy. Things are definitely starting to ramp up, though. I hope Hashirama and Madara start getting included more. Or better yet, we get a separate couple chapters detailing their own duel, which IMO would probably be more interesting than the jutsu arms race thats going on right now. They are both bound to factor into the Obito conflict in a big way, I'm curious to see how it happens. My predictions for end-game power ups: Naruto receives the other half of Kurama's chakra, and Sasuke awakens the Rinnegan. | ||

This is where things start to look like Devil May Cry 3. Somehow, all the other characters are made irrelevant - probably by just disappearing from the manga like Lee and Guy. Naruto and Sasuke finally put all their shit behind them, and combine their powers to kick Obito's arse. After all this is said and done, the two of them finally have their big rematch, BUT, they both have the Rinnegan, so they both share each other's vision, making the fight absolutely insane. Think about it. | ||

Come on, we all know Sasuke will marry Karin for that Uzumaki DNA, so they can have Sot6P babies. And maybe the Hyuuga are to Uchiha what the Uzumaki are to Senjuu, so Naruto will marry Hinata and have Sot6P babies too. Naruto's kids would probably be weaker because none of their parents have pure Uchiha or Senjuu DNA. | ||
