Someone younger like Obito might work because when he appeared before Itachi he appear a lot young around 25 which would be the same age as Kakashi during part 1. | ||

In that same chapter Tobi explains to Konan the Izanagi and says that the complete form of Izanagi can be achieved only by someone who has both Uchiha and Senju powers. That's why he fought Hashirama Senju (first hokage) only to obtain his powers. So my speculation is that Uchiha Madara wanted to become the second Sage, but to do that he had to obtain Senju powers by being killed by the first kage. So when Madara died, the second Sage came into existence and his name was Tobi. Frankly speaking that Sage of the six paths, can't be a shinobi as he creates from nothingness and so on. He has a level of a divinity so he is probably some spirit, upgraded human version or whateva. Enough fantasizing | ||

I remember reading something about them. I think the ones that are known are the Rinnegan, the Sharingan, the Juubi and those items that the Gold and Silver Brothers used in their appearance in the war. The other two, I don't think they've been revealed. | ||
