The animation and voice acting were A+ this time. Everything was more fluid and natural, definitely an outstanding episode, even compared to the best this arc's had to offer.

As for Goku falling, I guess they decided to solidify it as a theme. Instead of him being the sole victor, he always ends up working with or relying on his friends to win in the end. I think I'm ok with it. Now to see how they end it.

Was a fun fight to watch. I did not like how they portrayed Jiren though. I felt like Goku was fighting a completely different character.

I really wish the ending would have been Vegeta + Goku+ Freeza (or just Goku/Vegeta) vs Jiren, would be so much better imo than 17 + freeza + Goku.

Enjoyable episode though, fighting was top notch. Definitely felt a bit rushed.

I am laughing though that next episode Goku is going to recover enough to fight within 15 seconds

At least Goku decisively beat Jiren even if he couldn't finish the job himself. I guess the creators realized that killing 17 off was silly since the dragon balls exist and just brought him back lul.

I am sad that the time didnt end at the end of this episode. I thought it would be a hilarious end with Jiren and co thinking they had won and then the Bell ticked to 0 and U7 has 2 guys left. LOL. Now its less hilarious.

Both good points that inform why I'm pretty ok with everything this episode did. And the fight itself was great. Not gonna complain.

My only gripe is how the fuck are Frieza/17 supposed to do anything? Jiren has had like 2-3 major power-ups since we saw them last. Unless Jiren doesn't have the stamina to reach his hidden power anymore he should be able to defeat them with no issue at all.

Logically, he should be out of stamina since Goku defeated him and there's only a few seconds left in the tournament for him to recover. So watch him get back to full power right before the tournament ends.

Unfortunately logic goes out the window when we've had absolutely no continuity on how stamina works this arc. Frieza/17 shouldn't have been able to recover already either(both of them were basically dead). This fuckin show lol.

I guess I'm underestimating how hard it is to fight two people.

Awesome goku vs jiren fight, though it really should have spanned over more eps but the animation and their fighting moves were great.

But i dont get how 17 is alive if hes had enough time to recover and jump around on all the debris to dodge jirens collateral attacks why hasnt anyone else noticed or been hit. Jiren and goku are moving insanely fast and launching insane attacks

Surely someone would have realised frieza hasnt been seen on the u7 bench like how fucken stupid are they, they dont even have the excuse of thinking he vapourised himself like 17.
