Because the red haired one was called Super Saiyan god because it used God ki, but they should have named it only the Saiyan God as it is the "base form". So when they released Blue, which was supposed to be the super Saiyan form of the one with God ki (the red) they ended up with the ridiculous name of SSJ God, that went super Saiyan.

I still think Goku is going to ascend in some way similar to what we saw at the end of GT. Just like absorbing the dragon balls and flying away on the dragon, I think Goku is going to play an entirely different role in the next DB series.

My theory that I still like is that the Zenohs agree to bring back the universes if Goku is their GoD. Or maybe even the supreme kai to take a totally different perspective on the relationship between GoD/Kai. The stars progressively appearing in the background of the stage totally supports this.

What if this area they are fighting in, which is just an enormous amount of floating gas, is intended to mirror the beginning of a universe? If I recall correctly, that is roughly what new universes look like. The slow evolution towards stars being formed and whatnot also adds to that. The background of the stage did not contain stars. Now it does. Goku somewhat forming a galaxy visual hints at that too. I think all the weak universes are combined into a single one where Goku is a god of some sort. This is also a great way to retire Goku.

Alternatively, we are shown Goku is still not as strong as Beerus or other stronger GoDs but is on his way there.

My wildest dream is that DBS:____ is the same as DB:DBZ. This entire thing is built around introducing a whole new level of existence and power.

Just back from a weeklong vacay, and I totally put off watching this episode till I got back. Really awesome though, especially the animation. Sucks that there's another long wait for the next one still. Loved seeing the reaction of all the gods and angels as Goku finally mastered his power, pretty awe-inspiring.

Alright, I am extremely pleased by how they decided to end the episode, I really have no idea how it ends now.

I still don't know how I feel about Goku losing AGAIN though
