It's not like the original plot was very realistic to begin with. They'd know he was the architect of the place, and probably figure on him trying to bust his brother out of there considering his brother is on death row.
Not to mention how unrealistic it was that he got away with being burned, he was never caught in any of his travels throughout the prison. He got in and out of a mental ward of the prison within a couple weeks time, after being thrown in to solitary, and then he's put back into general population rather than solitary. Then, to top it all off, he gets a doctor at the prison to leave a door open for him so they can escape.
So, the level of unrealism is about the same in both seasons, it's just in different places, so to speak.

Yeah, but that's been over for quite some time now? What has it been, 3-5 years, or so? I can't remember when it ended.

I think it's getting better. The last episode was definitely the best of the season.

~.~ if you're talking about the S.2E07 where the kid is killed by the FBI psycho ~.~ I dont like it :'(

Well, 1st season, the man had it all figured out. Ok that is not very realistic... but with proper planning, I believe everything is possible. My problem with season 2 (and I stopped watching after 3 episodes) is that there is no proper planning anymore. Except for a few things (like the cementery thing) Michael is improvising everything. So in that light, yeah, escaping from a courthouse is just unrealistic. And about the things you mentioned of season 1 SweetLemon... this is all parts that already raised my eyebrows at the time and made me think they should defenetly have sticked to the mini serie plan. They had a scenario that was meant for 10 episodes, but they had to stretch it to 24. That is where the cookie crumble. I like my shows unrealistics, but not to the point where I snap out of it.
It's just my opinion folks, it's all right for you to keep loving that show. I'll just keep on with Weeds, Lost, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica and the new 24

Chibi, burrows(SP?) father was in some deep shit with those people if you remember back to that episode after they broke out.. and now there getting back at them by framing the older brother.
not too sure on specifics but thats generally why <-- bad memory ^^
i think the only 2 things i didnt like was how they got in and out of the courthouse full of police, and also got in and out of the one building with the map of the town that had the 5million in it when they had to go through a metal detector and talked face to face with a police officer.
but oh well, i really dont care about specifics the show is great

awwww i was hoping there was a real prison break T_T

I just finished watching all 30 episodes and my eyes are so messed up. Few questions..
When Bellick gets out of the hole in the break room he yells for another C.O. to get him his shotgun, then the C.O. opens a door in the break room and pulls out a shotgun. Why'd they leave an unlocked shotgun in a room with inmates? lol
Why the the FBI detective shoot Tweener? He said something about "They want you dead." Maybe the company wants him dead? Why would they care if he is alive or dead? He is obviously worth more alive since he knows where the others are. That's also pretty hard to cover up regardless of anything.
What's www.europeangoldfinch.net?

holy shit didn't think there was an actual site

Tweener is the guy who was trying to leak the info to the lawyer lady? It's been quite some time since I watched season 1. If so, the reason was that he was crossing them, which makes me doubt that being the guy you're speaking of.
Question 1: No idea.
Question 3: An unlikely site for escaped convicts to message each other in some sort of code to get away from the police and stay relatively untraced. Something tells me that they're going to talk about these finch meetings and meet up at these certain places or w/e. _______
It's total bullshit that baseball is knocking the show back three weeks. Fuck baseball, I hate that stupid fucking sport anyhow, and now I hate it even more.

no, Tweener is the white guy that acts black. He didn't have anything to do with Lincoln, or the company, or anything.

Maybe Mahone really is losing it. (again?)

didnt Tweener get killed because the FBI agent told him about himself killing someone? maybe he didnt want others to know. or it could be he has just lost it after already killing a guy and having to take medication everyday. i dont know

yeah that's true. His exact words were "I've got nothing against you, kid, but they do." Who is they? The other cons? Voices in his head? Society/

He said these words means that No One else would suspect that it's he killed Tweener.... i think so...
and the reason why he kills Tweener, i think it's just the arrogant detective cant bear the fact that he being tricked.... Believe me, the detective isnt a normal person, mentally or intelligently
