First of all, what major character in the Iron Man films was a teenager? Secondly, Spiderman got his powers as a teenager, so it's common sense that he would be portrayed as one.

Seriously, hasn't the prequels been awful enough? I'd be fine if they tried to make a completely non-cannon EU movie, but a direct sequel will probably be horrendous.

It would be ridiculously awesome if they used the comics as source material.

I was always planning to raise my kids to believe that there are only three Star Wars films, but maybe there will end up being sequels I can stand to watch.

Can't say I'm exactly a Star Wars buff or anything but from what I've heard there's lots of good material in the expanded universe that they could turn into films (and that they can avoid butchering...). there's way more bad than good imo. but the good is very good. bad is probably worse than anything from the pre trilogy

George Lucas, Star Wars fans are gunna hate on you for awhile because that's not really cool. You were the man behind everything and now it's going to take a turn presumably for the worse with the writing ![]() either way, of course I'll still see it because I'm a sellout and I like being entertained! I hate myself Point #1 - There have been a few decades worth of novels, etc. written to continue the story past Episode VI (Return of the Jedi) Point #2 - About half of Star Wars fans are very angry with George Lucas for writing and directing Episdoes I - III in the way he did, so I'm not sure why you're saying the writing is "presumably going to take a turn for the worse" now that Lucas will NOT be controlling its direction. Point #3 - DISNEY actually bought out Marvel awhile ago, and most people like how the recent Marvel movies have turned out, so I for one am optimistic.

Disney is capable of hiring great people, after the Avengers movie and having watched the entirety of Gravity Falls in a day, I have no doubt they are at least capable of making a worthy successor movie. The only real fears I have is that they might try to make it more child accessible like Return of the Jedi or the Phantom Menace, or that the movie might turn out formulaic (much like the recent Star Trek movie). Also, really wondering if we're gonna get an old Harrison Ford, if it's set not too long after RotJ I'd be surprised if they didn't.
