I have enjoyed the movie until (the very end) + Show Spoiler + the big xenomorph the godlike person attacked, and i saw the result. If i take everything in consideration what i know about aliens, than i have to conlclude, that the hole alien species as we know them from alien 1 - 4, is just one giant monstrosity, originated in dna pool of 2 different species?! That realy pisses me off. That can't be the origen of aliens. That's just way to unsatisfying. | ||

This isn't part of the main theory but my own hunch is that it's not OUR intentions or whatever that transformed the black goo into a force of evil that wiped their entire race out. It was their desire to wipe US out. But anyways, those jerks obviously did not have a star trek equivalent or something. Why punish the rest of humanity for a crime a few romans committed? (Aw man, more biblical references, humanity being stained, sins blah blah). It was a violent era but not EVERYONE was a raging maniac. They understood that that was a relatively primitive time for humans no? Why didn't they wipe out homo habilis? It was even probably more of a blood bath back then. "Hey guys, I think humanity might be ready to receive us in all our alien glory. I mean sure, they have yet to master a sanitary sewage system, an efficient form of government or calculus but, heck, I'm sure it'll go well!" It was because they were a bunch of religious fanatics. We did not end up adopting their beliefs so then they decided to wipe us out. Which is ironic because pretty much the same thing happened to space Jesus. But SERIOUSLY, star trek! The prime directive!!!! Arrrgghhh. | ||

edit: I am a little bit disappointed that this movie gets such a high rating on IMDB. 7.5/10, really? Although most of the well-liked reviews there point out the glaring plotholes, the cliched characters that don't even act consistently and the straight-out absurdity of some of the things happening on screen, the silent majority seems content because of the stunning visuals and cheap mystery. | ||

i understand what happened in prometheus and the alien films etc but i am somehow confused how Alien vs predator fits there and i feel like there are some logic/story mistakes  i would like a good explanation cause i am really confused >.< maybe some of you know a good site or are big fans themselves and can recommend me where to look up? | ||
