What's funny is that there's a definite difference in character interactions between Korean Manhwa and Japanese Manga. In general, characters in manhwa tend to be more aggressive/hot-headed than manga. Maybe an accurate representation of the culture?

God of High School is a pretty good Manhwa IMO. Sun Ken Rock is a pretty good manga (though a little explicit).
I was wondering if anyone knew when they would next update Tower of God D=. Are they on break because of finals?

Give A Fairytale for a Demon Lord a try, not as good as Tower of God imo but still a good read.
No chapters for 2 weeks  Just after that cliffhanger also.

Hopefully this comes out the right way... Does the art get better? Starting chapters looks so amaturish and colouring makes it almost look like a flash movie. It takes me out of the story. Perhaps I'm spoiled by trace where the art improved incredibly fast.

+ Show Spoiler +I agree with the one that Baam was sealed in that cave (Phantaminum's or other powerful irregular's son?) and that Lahel/Rachel (I like the name Lahel better for some reason) broke some rules to play with him (maybe she was Zahard princess since I'm pretty sure the red haired chick is one?) and had to kill Baam now that she indirectly made him climb the tower. Loving how the manhwa always keeps you on your feet.

The art does get better however it still has the same style. I think the story definitively makes it worth to continue reading and try to get used to the art.

So I've read the first 60 chapters and I doubt this is title I will read till the end. It just has to many issues. The fact that there rarely was any backgrounds made me confused as to where the hell most of the scenes were supposed to take places. This confuses me as the artist cleary shows that he/she can make decent backdrops also the style of super detailed faces and no detailed bodys got to me really fast.
The thing for me is that the concept itself is really good. But that's about it. Baam is completly unlikeable and what's worse is that Lahel is a despicable bitch. She is the "Bella" of this Manwha. Selfish. Stupid. Mean spirited and incredibly useless.
Has she shown any sign of not being complete deadweight? The characters themselves are mostly inconsistent and sometimes just downright weird. Decent villains so far, but the guys doing the climbing are just so unlikable it's amazing.
the last 10 chapters I read for 1 reason and it was because I really liked the purple sweatsuit, but 1 minor side character isn't enough to carry an entire comic. Characters vanish without explanation and act really weirdly.
Example of this is one of the characters does something horrendous, and after he/she does it you'd expect the other characters to go "I'll kill you in your sleep you Bastard/Bitch" but nope all of them including the people she nearly got killed goes "lol I forgive you" and they do so OFF PANEL. What the hell?
Read so far because I like the concept. Sadly the "roles" that was made up were very lackluster and I was really hoping it would become a "team book" but it really isn't at the moment. I don't know why people can't pull this off. Naruto started as a team book. One piece started as a teambook. Hunter x Hunter started as a teambook . But they all quickly devolved to "we are a team but we will never work together, really". Finished of the remaining chapters seeing as there was only about 70 something out, and I stand by my word. Lehel/Rachel is so unlikable that every time I see her get screentime I just want to smash her face in.

This manhwa makes me sad. 75 chapters, and still on the second floor. Why they drag this shit on, give it supporting characters which are useless, and a storyline. This would've been such a badass manhwa if they stuck to the original concept which drew everyone to read it in the first place. Baam should just be completing 100 different challenges to get to whatever number floor without the 100 different side characters, instead of this stupid crap that still goes on 75 chapters later. ^_^

LOL sounds like the author is taking a page out of Medaka Box. I'm sure that's not the case, but it's all I can think of with an ending line like that.

what trust? well the story is basicly like this: there are several royal families inside the tower and the King family. The red dress girl is clearly representing one of the families that want to use Baam (an irregular) to take down the king families. The only way to do that is to sneak Baam around the trial system so he could avoid the assassinations coming down from the King family.
i dont like how the author is dragging the story out wayyyy too long. The world is clearly way too big for the story to move as such speed... I mean this part 1 is just solely for the 1st floor... wtf..
Also the moral overall is a bit close to naruto where Baam is like sasuke sort of... I hope the author consider to make Baam smarter/cooler than what he is right now.

This manhwa is too freaking good.
Thank god after season 1, they got new characters. The old cast was getting stale... 2nd floor after 80 chapters is not cool. Now we get to see 20th floor, and how people fail at that floor.

This was overall pretty disappointing. I read through all of it in 2 days and it went from :
-Decent/good with a lot of potential
to
-Alright
to
-Pretty boring
I hope the author does a better job with this arc now that it's a partial fresh start. It really has the potential to be something interesting. I'm not seeing it so far though unfortunately.
