Some people find her attention-seeking obnoxious. I don't mind as much, mostly because she takes advantage of that attention for positive purposes. Plus she's done quite a few cool acts of kindness.
And, to put it in Gary's preferred terms, you can't ignore her girth.
Okay, so after reading approximately 5kk words worth of mlp fanfiction in half a year I started writing one of my own! I'm not even a native English speaker, and haven't ever written anything longer than 500 words in English, so my writing pace is painfully slow. Yet, I feel strangely confident.
I already managed to write out around 70% of my prologue (4k words in 4 days... duh, not very impressive, and it's probably overloaded with tense errors) and have the storyline planned out for several chapters. Anyway, when I manage to finish the prologue I will let you know and post the link to fimfiction.net - it should be done before this weekend I hope.
The story is quite dark, but if you managed to get through Fallout:Equestria it shouldn't be a problem. It's definitely not Cupcakes-level dark. I am a huge fan of 'Aliens' and 'The Thing' movies, and FMA anime - my story will be heavily influenced by those works in some of its aspects, but I won't describe much gorey stuff.
I'll offer my services again, I have done it before so if anyone needs for those who want WLF shirts, or they want it for a kewychain etc. They can have it ship to my house in the US (Free shipping) and I'll USPS it out to you for 5-10$ anywhere in the world.
It adds a week to 2 weeks onto shipping time, but atleast you can get the WLF Shirts and swag.

Good luck, mate! And importantly, enjoy it. You're not writing to make a buck, but for the fun of it. Have a good time, dude.

I'm sure you will have a lot of volunteers if you ever need pre-readers, including me. You convinced me at Aliens and FMA.
Want to know something funny? I know the person who wrote that IRL. He's actually my current editor for my own fic.
Hahaha, small world. "The Savage Way" was the first story I faved right after I registered on fimfiction, which he noticed. Could you send him my regards and tell him I loved his second story as well?
I'm looking forward to reading your fanfic as well!
I'll tell him when I see him at either my next local meetup or when we do more editing (he's weird and doesn't use stuff like IRC or Skype, so our meetings are in person only). Mine's been in the pipeline for nearly a year now, which is both impressive and sad at the same time.
