That episode was amazing! I honestly thought that Fluttershy had broken that poor bear's neck. And Rainbow Dash in shades! My face hurts from grinning so much. But I hope not all the new episodes are so over the top, I can see it getting overdone. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I personally thought it was way too over the top, yes it was a fun episode but I feel like the characters are behaving like caricatures, honestly I enjoyed celestia and spike the most in that episode. I don't know it felt like they were trying too hard, but that might just be me. I guess we'll see when episode 4 rolls around in a week. I love the new intro though ^_^ EDIT: Does fluttershy seem a little less yellow and more white to anyone else? I swear that was bothering me every time she appeared. | ||

The three episodes this season (and even the last two of season one) have been the most crazy episodes of them all. I'm a little worried that they are relying too much on insanity. If it isn't use sparingly it will get tired fast. And yea, Ive thought fluttershy has been looking different this season, not only in color, but also the way the face is drawn. It is bothering me a lot. | ||

Hopefully the reason they've taken this path with the episodes in s2 so far is just to make it easier to convert new people. They'd be told to watch ep 1 of s2 first, then they'd watch ep 2 due to the cliffhanger, then they might decide to just watch s2 onwards rather than going back to s1. To be honest, despite the fact that I liked it a whole lot, ep 3 felt very non-MLP-like for some reason. I guess due to all the TS rapefaces and the fanservices / gags being too common and too obvious? But as a one of a kind, it's one of the best episodes so far overall. Ep 4 will also continue in the line of creepy / 'scary' eps, but hopefully afterwards they go back to the unique charm s1 had to it that we haven't seen all that much in this season so far. Also I bet some of the dev team have at some point acted like TS did in this ep heh. And by 'some' I mean 'most of them'. | ||

I lauged more from this than any other episode so far. Although I agree some parts were a biiit exaggerated. Still, I was grinning throughout the entire thing. Justification for having adorkable Twilight as best pony, I've been on the fence between her and rarity since S1. ^^ Looking forward to seeing all the silly fancontent that this episode has no doubt spawned. | ||

Indeed the characters were pretty exaggerated during this episode, but thats just fine for me since it was hilarious and worked out well, if every episode was like that it would be a shame but in this instance I thought it was just plain great. I'm very eager to see what is in store for us. | ||

I understand everyone's concerns on this "craziness" stuff, and how it would be bad if the show continued with it for the episodes to follow; However, next episode seems to be different already: it is a halloween episode, AND it is a Luna episode, but none of these necessarily dictate insanity/craziness. Twilight losing her mind due to lack of friendship report content instantly tells you that she will snap - and she was hilarious and adorable at that - but Luna trying to show that she is actually good during Nightmare Night tells me that it will be an episode similar to Zecora's(maybe she will even appear in it?). It won't be about craziness nor insanity I'm sure, so I'm not worried about the show "losing it". Also, I disagree that S2E1 and S2E2 used insanity as it's focal point. It was more like Corruption, y'know, and it was justified. And Twilight NEVER was out of her character - we just saw the very extreme of herself!  Also, can't wait for S2E4. Needs moar Luna IMO. | ||

This might apply edit: removed the quote, i misinterpreted it. From what I understand, if you buy a figure, repaint it, and sell it it's ok since your are noot directly copying the work. But by making the plushie it is technically copyright infringement. You can't take a photo of something and make a figure out of it then sell it. however since these are unique items and auctioned off, Hasbro probably doesn't care. It's up to the copyright holder to enforce their copyright, if they say it's ok it doesn't matter. | ||
