I related to Twilight so much in this episode. >_< The cupcake moment made me facehoof because I've been there before.

So many funny moments too. This is definitely going to be a kickflank season. Rainbow nuking the barn was sweet too. Rainbow glasses? Fuckin' smart.

This is so good though because so far, this season is obliterating season 1 in terms of how good it is, something I never imagined. I was going to be happy if it was up to par with season 1, but this...this is on a different level. It's like season 1 is Diamond league and season 2 is Master.

Oh, I also always said NOPE on streams and shit whenever Big Mac said eeeyup, so I squeed so much when he went nope.avi on our asses.

I think it was a great episode. I can really see why people were saying that the Discord episode was supposed to be the conclusion to Season 1 as the new opening and new format to ending the episodes shows a progression to the new season.

Twilight going legit insane----->AMAZING. I can't tell you how much I laughed and was terrified with how it progressed through the episode. Especially with the CMC girls and that doll.

Sonic Rainboom 3.0 led me to ----> :O and silence for about 30 seconds.

So yeah overall really enjoyed it.

I won't lie though. When I heard of the span of time between episodes, I was like:

Seeing the new episode and the new theme song come on:

i think that it will be cool now that all the ponies have to report for the princess, we will get to see their different reactions and interpretations for the for the same lessons, should be neat

One thing I loved about this episode is that something I was hoping for in later MLP episodes was carried out. I wanted to see "Party of One" style episodes for the other characters, and my wish was granted for Twilight. I didn't expect to see it happen this early into season 2, though.

ya seeing ponies at their lowest point is good fun

It's really why this show is so incredible. The characters are so authentic and it is really displayed when they have breakdowns. It's good they're taking what works and just ramping it up in the new season.

Big Macintosh running off with the Smartypants stuffed pony was fun, not to mention the rainbow nuclear blast, I could go on for ages.

It's quite interesting that all of the mane6 are charged with providing the friendship reports now, gives them some flexibility in not having to drag Twighlight into appearing at the end of an episode.

Derpy cameo in the intro, never noticed when I watched but its on EqD.

The whole episode was such a cavalcade of stuff the non-primary demographic has been known to enjoy that it made me extremely happy but at the same time makes me wonder if they're actually changing direction a little too hard. Either way the amount of amazing stuff in this episode instantly makes it one of my favourites in the series, though I hope they don't feel the need to stick stuff like this in every episode.

- Angry Celestia instantly brought all the tyrant fanon into mind

Nervous Twi was always extremely hilarious to me (Swarm of the Century, Bird in a Hoof), so it was great to see her get an entire mental breakdown episode. Overall it's also great that they won't have to stick a lesson at the end of every episode anymore.

edit: Almost forgot, the animation was fucking spectacular, I don't know about you but I felt like something amazing was happening almost every scene.
