If you have a way to communicate why you love it, that's different, but impersonally showing it off just because you can to random people just makes you look weird.
There are numerous videos on Youtube where people record themselves going out in public and telling everyone they see about how great MLP is, or doing presentations for school where they make little effort to relate to the audience and stay academic but instead rave about the show and offer character bios. Many users thrive on posting show-related image macros in response to everything instead of actually being intelligent. This kind of crap (which should not be done for anything) does horrible damage to the credibility of the fanbase and generates droves of people who hate the show and everything it represents because they can't avoid it if they don't like it. It's the vocal minority, but there seems to be a lack of people here who try and present themselves as reasonable individuals or display an understanding of an outsider's view.
Bronies are quickly generating an image of a fanbase that is louder, more annoying, and slightly less creepy than furries just from their lack of self-restraint, and it really frustrates me as someone who tries to remain intelligent, reasonable, polite and collected when discussing the show with anyone, which I only do when it is specifically asked about.
really make me shy away from the whole brony concept. Its everyponys duty to be a social butterfly and not be as painfully awkward as these people, be proud but don't get in peoples faces about MLP put you're best hoof forward
That being said I ordered my first MLP shirt yesterday :p
Good choice, GypsyBeast! ^_^ I think that Vinyl Scratch's (DJ Pon-3) mane style might be my favorite. So cool looking, and the colors are amazing! Definitely a BG character who deserved to get the attention she did. Even if it was only 4 seconds of screen time...

It's obvious that you are a true fan of MLP:FiM. You know a lot of things about the series and you are a caring and loving person for the bronies around you. That’s great! But because this test has space for real Mega-Bronies, it is hard to reach full points. So there are still some small holes in your knowledge but you can survive that without any problems. Yea!

Shit, that's it. Buying some pony shirts. Definitely getting that Vinyl Scratch one. Where did you order it? Is there some organized brony shop site or are they spread around?

There are various places, but this one probably has the largest variety (and has that particular shirt)

Well, as with any fanbase of this magnetude, there are going to be asshats that make it look terrible. Despite being a "mega-brony", I don't go around with plackards telling randoms to watch the show. Obviously I try to get my friends to watch it, but not a complete stranger unless they decide to press me on the subject. Honestly it's best to ignore their existence. The best way to spread bronydom around is to just be nice and manner.

Yeah, the cold, rainy weather abruptly stopping and a big ass rainbow appearing in front of my face was pretty trippy.

Mega-Brony
You have proven that you are a true fan of the series. Not only that, but you know much about the episodes and you also apply your brony-ness in real life. This is a really good result. You should be proud of it!
Gary beat me by 1%. ONE PERCENT! Damn it.
Still a crazy score. That I do music and videos certainly helped -- I was able to rack up a bunch of points on those. I'm surprised I got the nitpicky stuff, though (Number of times Applejack landed next to the catapult, the Pinkie combo, etc).
Well I thought the show was interesting, but I'm totally not a Brony, watched every episode and I have show loyalty so I'm gonna keep watching it, but extremist bias aside I only got a 47% on that quiz. The show doesn't have enough meat to enthrall me, but I enjoy what you guys are doing (other than the obsessive people) and will continue to watch .

And that's just great! Don't need to be a crazy hardcore brony to be part of the community. =)
Also, this art stream is so relaxing. Having it on in the background while doing something else and glancing at the ponies (humanized or otherwise) come to life in a matter of seconds is so much fun.
I'll post this here incase anyone missed it or does not check Equestria Daily, its a nice top 10 compilation of septembers PMV / Pony videos according to Movie Brony.
only 51% on the Quiz oh well I never said I am a hardcore Brony just a Fan of certain Aspects of the Show in General and the Fandom and its Creations around it.
so its all good for me btw I though about something, with all the Hype around MLP you ever wondered if there will be a Movie of somekind (Animated/Cartoon)?
in the meantime have some real Life Celestia/Luna from JJ
