No, this is not a joke/trolling thread. We don't need more filler posts asking if it is. Remember to spoiler season 6 content, and clearly label your spoilers.

Mega-Brony You have proven that you are a true fan of the series. Not only that, but you know much about the episodes and you also apply your brony-ness in real life. This is a really good result. You should be proud of it! I'm MEGA! Did anyone get the Fluttershy feeding the birds one? That's a pretty hardcore question. Edit: GMarshal, I'd say you get an extra 100 points for this thread! I doubt anyone would disagree. ![]() And now I DARE you to not stare into Pinkie's eyes. I can't do it. + Show Spoiler +

I kind of like the quiz but I hate that many of the options are limited or pretty specific, like listening to music. "Yes, but with headphones on so nobody else can hear it.", as if there are no other reasons to use headphones. (I don't even have speakers) I'm probably just taking it too seriously though. D:

Quoting the announcement video: Just as the video says. I actually tried to tell you this via bulletin, but youtube messes up my bulletins sometimes and it get's really irritating to write the same message over and over again... Anyways the PMV is called "In the Discord of the Night" and here's the link you must be dying to click: http://www.mediafire.com/?07tbhjh43jqt9z4

So today I was woken up early by my mom, at 11 AM, and was informed that I'd be getting the haircut/trip to the bank I asked for last week. I needed my dad to take me since it's the family safety deposit box; I had to withdraw my passport and US currency for BlizzCon. So I do that, get my hair cut, grab some poutine, then head over to Toys-R-Us, running into the guy that runs my weekly MtG tourneys along the way. Anyway, I find the small MLP section and luckily find a big Fluttershy. I grab it and walk over to the checkout as casually as possible, wanting to make a quick exit. Unfortunately, only one till is open and there's a line. Thankfully everyone there was either a parent or a child, so nobody my age or that I recognized was there. Anyway, another till opens, I go to check out, but there's an older gentleman and his wife from the other line. As I'm about to be helped (I was first there), I told them to go ahead since they were in the original line first. The gentleman was taken aback and said "chivalry is not dead" to his wife and finished "he's standing behind you." I just smiled at that. Turns out they had a big purchase (2 bikes), so I was waiting for a long time. I ended up going to the original till since that line had cleared up. The girl ringing up my purchase paused for a second and said "is this for someone or are you a brony?" I grinned and answered "both." Then I explained that I was going to BlizzCon and this was a gift to an important figure in the SC2 community on behalf of TL. She was jealous, but she wasn't a SC2 fan (she's a Diablo person), so she didn't know what I was talking about. After I checked out, I purposefully took a while to get my coat on and umbralla out. As I was about to leave, I waited until she was done with the customers and said "besides, if it was for me, I'd have obviously bought Rainbow Dash." She laughed and said "well she IS the coolest!" Anyway, I was walking home in the cold rain, the Fluttershy box clunking slightly in my mostly-empty backpack. About halfway home, it suddenly stops raining and gets bright out. Then I look to the ocean (I'm walking down a hill facing the ocean before I hit my street and walk paralel to it), then I noticed a beautiful rainbow. I imagined myself looking like Pinkie did in her flashback about I get home and it's picture time! + Show Spoiler + ![]()

In all honesty, I hold a low opinion of those who would fit in the Mega-Brony category without getting lots of points for creating content. The people who go around trying to "convert" everyone they know and shamelessly flaunting how much they love the show only scare off people who might be interested in the show on its own merits but are terrified of being associated with such obsessive and socially awkward people. (And yes, it is inherently socially awkward to wear an MLP shirt or whatnot because you do not convey anything about the show's merits by doing so, so the average person can only assume the worst.) If you have a way to communicate why you love it, that's different, but impersonally showing it off just because you can to random people just makes you look weird. There are numerous videos on Youtube where people record themselves going out in public and telling everyone they see about how great MLP is, or doing presentations for school where they make little effort to relate to the audience and stay academic but instead rave about the show and offer character bios. Many users thrive on posting show-related image macros in response to everything instead of actually being intelligent. This kind of crap (which should not be done for anything) does horrible damage to the credibility of the fanbase and generates droves of people who hate the show and everything it represents because they can't avoid it if they don't like it. It's the vocal minority, but there seems to be a lack of people here who try and present themselves as reasonable individuals or display an understanding of an outsider's view. Bronies are quickly generating an image of a fanbase that is louder, more annoying, and slightly less creepy than furries just from their lack of self-restraint, and it really frustrates me as someone who tries to remain intelligent, reasonable, polite and collected when discussing the show with anyone, which I only do when it is specifically asked about.

On a positive note, I realized the other day that rainbows have much more meaning to me now that they used to! I'd been having a not-so-great day, standing in the cold and rain all morning for work, losing a soccer game, and then remembering that I had quite a bit of homework to do. Just as I was about to get into my car, I looked up and saw a bright, gigantic rainbow through a break in the clouds, right in front of the newly snow-covered mountains. I couldn't help but let a huge grin break out on my face. I wondered idly if maybe I had just missed Rainbow Dash racing by. Bad day gone! -Sounds like a perfect day, Gary! Operation Flutter[9] (awesome name, by the way ^_^) seems to be going smoothly so far. Nothing but good omens on Day 1. ![]()

Your score: 77 % Fully approved brony It's obvious that you are a true fan of MLP:FiM. You know a lot of things about the series and you are a caring and loving person for the bronies around you. That’s great! But because this test has space for real Mega-Bronies, it is hard to reach full points. So there are still some small holes in your knowledge but you can survive that without any problems.
