he's not whining, and it's 10x better than the emo crying after Jane died

anyone know a site that I can use to rewatch the first 3 season?
|
my guess for episode 5 of what is NOT going to happen >_<
+ Show Spoiler +jessy will not die (obviously) and also mike wont even try to kill him (eventhough breaking bad is known for not sticking so much to the rules, i still think this would be way too much drama for so early in the season.

it also brings up an interesting dynamic, walt needs an assistant. no jesse, new assistant for gus to bring in. walt quits, he dies. i dunno.
my theory is that gus plans to hand off jesse to one of the cartels to cook for them. it would both get rid of jesse and possibly make good between gus and the cartel

I could definitely see that happen. Can't imagine don't-care-if-I-die Jesse will care much for it though.

anyone catch the ron paul subliminal while walter is looking through the lab notes?

I also can't imagine jesse putting up a fight if they do that. I mean, they just pay him his money, and he goes and blows it on whatever he wants. As long as he shows up for work on time (like he was doing) being in mexico might actually be better for him, because I think its far more likely the police would overlook his crazy lifestyle.

That's not really subliminal. Gabe has said he's a firm libertarian, and even though Paul is under the Republican ticket, his policies fit with Gabe perfectly. Point is, it makes perfect sense that Gabe would be a fan of Ron Paul and have flyers in his lab notes.

they do a really good job portraying his character actually. think about it he's an ex-DEA agent who has always prided himself on being a traditional 'man's man' if you will (notice his relationship with relation to Hank for example). all of a sudden the thing that he prides himself, the thing that defines himself the most (his physical ability) is taken away from him, potentially forever. his response isn't exactly unexpected. its only because our 3rd person omnipotent viewpoint that you can make that judgment call.
Not saying it wasn't in character. Just that self-pity that extreme pisses me off. Man up.

About Jesse's "crying":
+ Show Spoiler +...What exactly did you expect?
"Oh hey I just killed a guy, my boss will probably kill me once he finds a half-competent replacement, and I have no family or reliable friends to run to, but I guess I'll just 'man up' and get over it"
Come on. If you want an ounce of realism from this show, Jesse's reaction to all that's happened lately makes perfect sense. He occupies himself constantly as a way of coping with the fact that he just murdered a man who never did a single thing wrong to him--to take his mind off of it. He keeps the homeless people/constant party at his house because he's afraid that somebody is going to come kill him in his sleep.
This feeds into one of the main themes of the show: everything Walt touches turns to shit, most of all Jesse. Few people in the show have lost more on account of Walt's actions than him. He lost a girlfriend, he lost a friend, he lost another girlfriend's son, he got beaten to a pulp, and now he killed a man in cold blood.

sure it makes sense but it was still completely unnecesarry. I view it as a "shout out" to ron paul.

man i LOVE it ! what i am more curious about is if they tell walt wahts up with jesse or if they just leave him clueless. because walt seemed verry verry pissed off and concerned! also this whole blackjack story isnt as good as skylar wants it to be. even walt .jr. thinks "man cool my dad rules i can have a car .." there will be a sweet follow up i think ! oh its gotta be .. goooooood
best ... series ... ever.

I would approve of Jesse dieing... But i highly doubt that will happen...

"where's the bullet-point about you sleeping with your boss?"
BOOSH BITCH!

Don't be a dick. Spoilers are terrible no matter what. It's like me telling you that a major character dies, and I say "Yeah, I spoiled it, but I didn't give you the details of how he dies". Doesn't make it any less of a big spoiler nor does it preserve any suspense.

Eh, plenty of other things about Gale were unnecessary. It's all just a part of his character IMO. The writers are very thorough.
