I really want hank to recover while walter take over Gus business. Then they confront each other(Walter and Hank) for an explosive finale.

I don't really understand his character's psychological state at this point. I think he's embarassed about getting taken care of by her. He is pissed because she forced him to leave the hospital. That's it? He's just being awfully hostile for simply being embarrassed... though he's been kind of moody ever since he was having those panic attacks or whatever a good while back, and it seems like everything's just compounded - the trauma he experienced in Mexico, and now, the shootout and the crippled state he's in now. He's been steadily becoming more and more of an emotional wreck, and it's just been building up for so long now, so I'm curious to see how they'll resolve his storyline. just put yourself in his shoes. he can't walk. his wife cleans his shit. he's no longer a man capable of taking care of himself. he's pissed 'cause he's a helpless bitch. still being a huge douche tho.

It seemed like not much happened except Walter being paranoid and wanting to kill Gus, Jessie being fucked up, and Hank being a dick. Didn't really end on a note to get me super excited for episode 3 and nothing too important (eventwise - character development was probably the main reason behind this episode) happened and episode 1 was much better. Seconded. Felt like a filler episode full of hidden advertisements (Jessie's stereo, the guys talking about video games, Shradder's bed and a whole bunch of other crap) I fast forwarded through a lot of it. Walk talking with Mike was nice. Other than that - congrats to the team on creating an episode about nothing and getting paid.

Anyone whos saying this episode is a bit lacking is missing many of the finer points and are underestimating the importance of what walt asked of mike amazing episode in my opinion

Cant believe you guys skip this, this is not the show to skip T_T Just because something is deep and subtle under the surface doesn't mean the surface gets to be ugly. Great shows are 10/10 on the surface and underneath it. This episode was pretty much a snooze fest. It's not a Fly (thank god) but it's not exactly good either. I don't see anything in this episode becoming relevant to the greater story excluding perhaps the scene with the henchman beating Walt up. The partied, they had Hank being a little bitch and they cooked some meth...and that's about it. If i wanted to see character development with nearly no plot movement i would be playing my Mad Men DVD's on repeat. someone want to explain what exactly happened in the end with the talk between walt and mike? and mike did what he did? Either it's 1) Fuck you i am loyal 2) Ima beat you up but not for realziez just so people think i hate you because Gus has ears everywhere.

Breaking Bad is clearly a show about characters, keeping the action in moderation only strengthens it's impact. And with a cast this strong, I could watch these guys eat breakfast for 40 minutes and be entertained. Buuuuttt... I'm a huge fanboi so I'm biased as fuck.

Totally agree, and there was plenty of character development here, both for a potential major plot and for on the side. Maybe some people should watch 24 instead ![]()

I can only assume that it'll play a huge role starting mid-way in the season. Jesse and Hank are such a mess right now. So much build-up right now, the actions going to come and it'll come hard.
