The only thing I can think of is when Dany finds herself at The Wall during the House of the Undying part. She sees a vision of Khal Drogo and Rhaego, the latter of whom has black hair, which I think is saying that Targaryens can have black hair. It's essentially the show version of the winter rose on The Wall.
That and snow in the Throne Room
Snow in the Throne Room
...Wow. I only just realized what that was supposed to mean lol. Thanks for spelling it out.

oh gods I totally missed that on 2 read throughs.
Dang, I missed that too.
How did I miss that? O_o
Funny enough I got it from the series, I don't even remember if that scene was in the house of the undying in the books, I only read that book once and that Chapter was kinda confusing is general
Ramsay reveal in next episode? i sure hope so, the trailer show a theon scene and i dont think it would make sense to leave him in "unknown territory", it would be a pretty unsatisfactory season arc...
Yara was in one of the previews for next week so she will have a scene.
Re: Dany in the throne room with snow on the throne, notice the throne room is in ruins too, which could mean that the white walkers won, or some have speculated that it was actually ash, and not snow, and there was the comment about how littlefinger would be willing to be king of ash if it meant he was in power, or that the Dragons burned the city to the ground as part of their conquest or she won but her victory turned to ashes.

Wasn't Robert Arryn Jr. called something like "Sweet Robin" by Sansa?

I thought Dany finding Drogo and her son meant that eventually she will die battling the others north of the wall.

Probably a good end for her and her arc, to be honest.
Compared to "Aegon", she may be a conqueror, but she's no ruler.

OK What is she reaching for in the "snow" in the throne room scene here at 4:15? Is she reaching for the throne itself or is there something (someone) sitting there?
looks like she's just reaching for the grip of one of the many swords the throne was made off... tho we cannot be sure, if there's a small person sitting there we wouldnt see him, and if its someone she doesnt know she might very well ignore that person. altho john is not small, so that wouldnt match him
Am I the only one worried about what will happen once the show reaches book 4 and 5?
I loved the books from 1-3 but don't care much for 4-5 at all, and from what I understand I'm not alone with that. What do you think.. should they start making bigger changes to the story? I'm thinking that it would be good for the show to keep more focus on existing characters like Tyrion, Arya and Bran and maybe try to do more with them instead of going too much into Dorne and Iron Islands etc. Apart from that there is just so much detail that I don't think add anything about things like a detailed Night watch political process or Brienne on her fools quest, and later Daenerys starts to get slow-paced as well.
The writers seem to be good at telling this complex story so while I'm not sure that I know how to better tell it, I'm kind of thinking that they may be able to. Much of what will happen otherwise just isn't as interesting or dramatic as previous books I think.

I agree. I also think there have to be major changes from the books for feast and dance to keep things interesting for a TV audience. These books were also my least favorite ones. They said they only want to do 7 seasons, so book 4 and 5 will probably be condensed into one season. Which of course means major changes. I also think major parts of the Iron Islands and Dorne stuff will be axed.

Plenty of stuff to do, and they won't do 2 seasons a book like ASOS.
There are just way more story lines in AFFC, they don't have to focus on NW/Brienne, there is Arya, Jaime, Cersei, Tyrion, Bran, Greyjoys, Oldtown, Dorne. And there's a ton of stuff left over that they didn't use in previous seasons that was used in the books. Nods to Tower of Joy, Tourney at Harrenhal, Defiance of Duskendale, Blackfyre rebellion, Aegon's conquest, maybe some Dunk and Egg.

It doesn't mean major changes necessarily considering that half of one of the books is essentially Danny sitting in Slaver's Bay doing nothing. Dorne could be summarized in a couple well made scenes and so could be most of the other plot lines from the Iron Islands. Even Tyrion's trip could be cut down massively, but they probably won't do that as he is one of the "lead" characters in the series.
In terms of plot advancement books 4 and 5 put together do as much as book 1. The writers on the show should be able cut most of the chaff without changing the overall plot arc significantly.
