Cersei and Margery have a talk - A NORMAL FUCKING TALK - and Cersei tells her she'll kill her in her bed if she calls her sister again. . . WHAT? HAVE THE WRITERS READ THE BOOKS? Aren't they politely hostile all through book 5? Whatever. How much nudity can you fill one episode with? It's a shame that the focus is on flesh instead of the story. What kind of pervs do they think watch this show? Season 4 will be one big orgy. I say more clothes and more Greyjoys. What is dead shall never die and all that. gg
Yeah that bit also struck me as way too blunt. I'm not really sure what the purpose of that was, I'm pretty sure the audience could see that Cersei and Margaery were rivals and certainly far from friendly without having it shoved in their faces. I would prefer that they kept Cersei more in line with the more subtle, scheming character she is in the books rather than just being like "IMMA KILL YOU MARG".

Just seemed to me like a weird way for them to explain "Rains of Castamere".

I've begun to just skip over every scene with Margaery.

The less sword shattering "cgi" they use the better imo. + Show Spoiler +god his regular sword shattering looked so fake. blaaaaarrghhhh

Something actually bother is that we saw Asha Greyjoy in some of the trailers for the season 3 and yet we saw no signs of the Pyke yet... it's certain that we wont see Victarion and Euron this season but they could have introduce the incoming death of Balon

Makes sam looks like an ever bigger coward
Makes Arya seems like a completely idiotic girl
Makes robb seem even more irresponsible (At least jayne westerling was noble and won his heart while tending for him at the crag)
They also butchered the reeds, so many characters that will become ill perceived due to these changes
Just curious, was there ever an on-screen adaption that you enjoyed?

Balon has been entirely irrelevant this entire season, and I'm hoping they're not going to show his death on screen. It would be way too much of a giveaway that Melisandre's magic actually works, and that Robb and Joffrey are going to die, too.

Haven't been theories that Balon's death was due to Euro hiring a faceless man ?

So it seems like Shae is cool with Tyrion again. And it clearly looks like she is not the same person as in the books. At this point I cant imagine her betraying Tyrion, which means there would be a big deviation from the books. Maybe Tywin will discover and kill Shae (also because Tyrion is supposed to bed Sansa and not a whore), which will then be the reason for Tyrion killing Tywin. The book reason would probably not be convincing to TV watchers anyway because they have never seen his first wife etc. I can imagine Tyrion will confront Tywin over Shae, and then also find out about his first wife not being a whore, and then kill Tywin.

Maybe Melisandre has just seen these deaths in her fires and then quickly staged a ritual so that she can take credit for these deaths.

In the books I remember it being relatively short and tolerable, here it was just drawn out for what felt like forever. There was no Jon, Theon, Rob, Bran, and barely any Arya. I thought for sure when Sam came up we'd see Coldhands finally. The best scenes were definitely Dany + Daario (followed closely by Melisandre's scenes), I think they chose a great actor for him. I'm actually excited to see book 5 scenes of Dany frothing at the loins for badboy lover Daario even though I hated the Mereen chapters, he's pretty dreamy and charismatic. I'd do him for sure.
It felt like an episode dedicated to my 3 most hated POV characters, Tyrion, Sansa, and Dany.
*cough cough... You DIDN'T like Tyrion Chapters?????/ SMH....

I speculated something along those lines a few weeks ago, too. I think it would make a lot more sense for the show. The alternative was that a jealous Shae would end up going batshit insane and end up betraying Tywin, which I think is still a possibility. It would be a far weaker plot, though, and I really hope they're not going to go with that.
On the other hand, Tyrion already gave Shae the chain, and it would be a real pity losing the scene of Tyrion slowly strangling her.
I'm conflicted!

Nah you didn't miss anything. It's just a theory. It happens to be one of the more popular ones.

Well according to a Wiki of Ice and Fire :
Some portents and the timely return of his brother Euron lead to speculation that Balon may have been murdered by an assassin at Euron's command.
With these chapters as references : ↑ A Clash of Kings, Chapter 48, Daenerys. ↑ A Storm of Swords, Chapter 22, Arya. ↑ A Feast for Crows, Chapter 11, The Kraken's Daughter.

Next season is gonna be so full of crazy colourful characters with Ramsay unleashed and Euron Croweye. Im looking forward to it already

imagine the look on the unsullieds faces once they learn that "boy", the twisted psycho who they thought was just some nameless torturer, is going to be the heir to the entire north and lord of winterfell. wont that be a day to remember...

I really hope they're just not going to show Theon again for a good long while now, by the way. Not for the last two episodes of this season, and not for a bunch of episodes the next season, either, before they'll reintroduce him as Reek, barely recognizable to anyone.

Then the audience can connect the dots without having ramsay flat out exposing himself to theon, wich would be out of character at this point since hes not done breaking his spirit.
