Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

How is it that with millions of dollars thrown at a TV series, they don't get that nobody actually enjoys fillers (and in other weeks, cliffhangers). How hard is it to make each episode enjoyable, rather than aggravating? I mean, does anyone ever actually finish an episode and be like, holy shit this is so exciting I can't wait to find out who Negan killed and the suspense is making me all giddy, or holy shit Carol's story about recouperating from trauma is so inspirational and interesting to follow! How is it filler to introduce a whole new community, and a new character? I was pleasantly surprised by this episode. Ezekiel is great. Filler will be the episode where everyone mourns Glenn and consoles Maggie for 42 minutes.

Pretty sure you're posting just to inflame discussion. Episode was way better than the previous. Though I continue to not like this new Carol at all, she just being a sulky old woman who wants to basically commit suicide. I can alrdy see where this season is going. Eventually the Kingdom and Rick's group are going to join forces and take out the Saviors.

I'm really excited about this season as it's got some of my favorite parts of the comic, I think, if they stick even remotely to it. King Ezekiel is in the comics too, so it's not filler from my point of view. + Show Spoiler [episode spoiler] + but recovering from a gut shot in 3 days is dumb as fuck It's because AMC is very very cheap and wants to pocket as much as the profits as possible, while also having a writing staff that is either lazy or Kirkman just to inept to want to focus on what makes great stories and connections to characters.

Frankly, I've always found Morgan to be terribly acted even back to his second appearance. All of his character development was incredibly unrealistic and just cringy as fuck. He goes from a tormented father to a psychopath to an all out murderer to a buddhist and back to his old self. Same with carol. She goes from abused housewife to a survivor to a badass to a crybaby. It seems way too forced.

My wife made me laugh as the episode started because she said something like "oh great its a borigan and Who Carols episode" not bad.

I'm afraid the tiger has to die as a punishment. Morgan seems more reasonable now, but Carol, I have never liked her. Sure she is badass and can play people, but she is not likeable. She never say anything inspiring. Actually I find her kind of dumb, although she is a genius in surviving.
