In the past couple of episodes, they've been teased starting with the episode of Noah visiting his neighborhood community to now. Fans speculate that the 2 guys were one of the 3 people that were exiled from Alexandria due to them being messed up in the head. The Wolves believe in the story of how settlers gave bounties for the Native Americans, so these guys are trying to mimic that. Also, "the wolves are back", either means these 2 guys or the wolves being the zombies. Same with how the people of Terminus was a TV counterpart of the hunters. | ||

Rick is back being the bad-ass truth-teller with a plot that conveniently shows everyone that he's been totally right all along. Meh. Really curious how things will develop between Morgan and Rick, though. Also, is it just me, or did Sasha being all angsty and suicidal come kinda out of nowhere? | ||

They made a big deal out of it the last few episodes, sure, but before that they didn't put a whole lot of emphasis on it. The timing was just off, much like with Maggie and her sister previously. | ||

The plot wasn't exactly just convenient. The walkers showing up was pure plot working that way, but Carol specifically and purposefully riled Pete up into a frenzy just to make him do something crazy and prove Rick right. Even without the Walkers, she ensured that Pete would be there and be pissed enough that the group would have to accept that Rick was in the right. | ||

I like what Carol's doing, in fact. But the accidentally-slashing-a-guy's-throat bit was a bit too convenient for me. The one thing that bothered me/didn't make a ton of sense was the priest. I get that he's been kind of always mopey and useless, but what was the purpose of going out to strangle that walker? What was the point of leaving the gate open? Like other people's craziness (rick, sasha, etc) make sense and they follow a consistence logic. The priest doesn't really seem to have any. Like even if he wanted Rick's crew gone, what was the purpose of leaving the gate open? | ||

Him. Anyways, I actually liked the fact that Glenn didn't kill that dude. I think he has a lot of room for character development. Or just end up zombie fodder next season like Noah... And what father Gabriel doesn't realize is that he's immortal until another black character is introduced into the storyline. I hope he turns into a total badass. Priest with a deathwish, awwww yeah. | ||

He's had such divergent ideas towards the group and his own survival that nothing he says even makes sense in the context of his actions. His walking out to find a zombie and saying "I'm ready" seemed to indicate suicide, but then he had a last minute change of heart for no good reason. Leaving the gate open seemed unintentional, he was kind of in a daze (again, for no good reason). I hate this character even more than Lori's ghost. | ||

I think this is just a general feeling audience have towards characters that complain/not competent/rely on others/weak etc. People don't like watching whiners no matter how legitimate their complaints are. Skylar from Breaking Bad, Sansa from Game of thrones, Season 3 Claire from House of Cards all received hate from audiences for this same reason. Fuck I watch too much tv... | ||

It started building right after Tyreese died, and the episode following with the group traveling on the road with little food and water. It only got worst when the group arrived to Alexandria and Noah dying. She regrets what she said to Noah the episode after Tyreese died. I think her development was fine. | ||

I'm glad they didn't try to rush anything with the wolves. They've set the arc up nicely for next season and given a great taste of how cruel they are, from the ambush, traps, leaving the bodies around, etc. Carol's manipulation and maneuvering through the town politics is great. "People like me need people like him". She's playing them so hard haha. Her relationship with the kid is intriguing as well. Rick is interesting and not always acting super-intelligently but everyone realizes they still need him because he knows all the shit. | ||

I mean, there's lots of things you can complain about with the show, but how the priest is acting isn't one of them. maybe I need to watch again but didn't he like immediately walk up to the walker, throw a noose around it's neck and kind of rip its head off? it didn't strike me as suicidal as much as it was like some weird killing fetish. My point is that all his actions kind of don't seem to have any logic. Him telling Deanna seemed to indicate he wanted to kill Rick's crew or at least get rid of them, not kill himself. His bit with Sasha seemed to play into the suicidal coward bit but it was kind of all over the place, whereas the rest of the characters have their own consistent logic. | ||
