Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

Like a guy talking to a priest through the screen? I thought that part was really well done. that's a good point, it really does seem like a confession

Beiber is the Da Vinci of our time. Some of the stuff on the show is pretty stupid but it's not that bad. Some characters are really quite stupid especially the women... Lori and Andrea come to mind... Andrea is probably going to take forever to figure out that the governor actually went to the prison.

He wants them to suffer; to have the prison group have to deal with the emotional trauma of losing someone as well as losing a layer of defense. He ended up on IGN's list of greatest comic book villains for a good reason. Comic book Governor and TV version are two different guys. But yeah, I imagine he retreated because he was there to mainly give a show of power and fuck with them. I doubt he planned to kill them all from the start.

Ya it seems like a man where he looks at death as a favor. By just outright killing them it wouldn't fulfill his ego. The man killed people by waving a white flag.

I get his reasons for being wary and suspicious, but you can't manage a group and a fortress with a group not at least numbering to 10 people with stability. At least Daryl's back + Merl now. Pretty sure he was yelling at Lori and not the group and wasn't in a sane conscious state, and the group just left because they were afraid and thought he was yelling at them. I can't imagine they'll disappear without a fulfilling conclusion to the story. Then again, we're still holding out for Morgan and Duane.

There's actually a good theory why the two are different; I've mentioned it in this thread before. + Show Spoiler [Rise of the Governor spoilers] + TV Governor is the real Philip Blake. Kirkman explained the attack in this video at 4:50. It would've been better if The Governor explained his plans on camera before the attack played out though.

I laugh every time the Chinese Korean joke comes up. The whole group is back together again :D Although I am not finding the lack of zombies appealing, its more about the drama between the survivors now.

Thanks for posting this.. It was actually really helpful in understanding all this. I for one loved the last two episodes, and maybe it's because I haven't read the comics ^_^

I don't think they would bring Tyrese in and leave just like that...we will hear from them again. Just an opinion. Prison problems -there is a opening that tyrese's group came through the zombies are getting in and have overrun some of the inside portion of the prison. -Main gate is down. Zombies will continue to come in every day. At this point its beginning to seem like the prison is starting to show some real issues in staying there. I pray/hope/wish andrea becomes the andrea of the comics whne the group attacks, taking out woodbury people right and left. Lets face it she will rejoin the group, she's too much of a main character.

Although much more entertaining than the second season, my main problem with the show remains. I would love if the show had the zombies as the main conflict, and not people drama. It's like lately the zombies are hardly an issue anymore, and all of the coolest scenes for me have been close encounters in zombie survival.

Hiding in a tank and covering themselves in zombie guts followed by rain was really cool. The constant change of locations, and deadly zombie attacks are sorely missed from me! I figure if there are enough people out there with the same opinion it could influence future episodes.
