Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

Just watched the latest episode. Awesome. Can't wait for February to come. Also, lol @ another black guy dying and another one instantly replacing him. Wonder how long this guy's gonna last.

It really bothers me how easy it is to kill the walkers. Judging by what they showed us in the lab you should have to destroy that small part of the brain where the virus is active. Even ignoring this they die by 1-2 hits with a bat or a hammer? That wouldn't even kill a normal human in most cases.

andrea so dumb. interesting to see if she will intervene between daryl and merle knowing the governer is crazy now.

Andrea is so unbearable ..not quite the Lori level, but she is getting there.
As for Michonne, it is so irritating that she could solve quite a bit of doubt and tension with other characters if she would just open her mouth and talk. Most of the time she just says something completely vague or useless (especially when she was with Andrea). Although when she shoved the sword through the daughters head, it was so bad ass I can look past her "annoyingness" this season. Destroying the Governors`s eyeball was a good touch too :p

Killing his daughter was fucking stupid as hell...
It's objectively stupid but the way it played out makes for more excitement i guess.

I saw it a jesture in return with what she was forced to do with her two walkers she kept as pets. They had sentimental value and she'd prefer to keep them alive and with her.

Right when they showed the black guy in at the start, I knew the other one was gonna die.

But it's not like the Gov made her kill them. She did it because they were making noise and she didn't want to be found.
Idk why she did it but I was hoping she would continue with her sword into the Gov and do a 2 for 1 kind of thing ha :D

So what is your first impression of Tyrese? (question for non-comic book readers)

"Hey it's Cutty! Hope we don't encounter another black guy too soon or it's curtains for his ass as the token black guy xD"
"oh shit he just straight up knocked that Zombie out! No surprise since he teaches kids in Baltimore how to box"
Just a few thoughts as I watched. Not much to say yet.

So, you didn't notice how he kicks zombie ass while not leaving his own to die horribly, does what needs to be done himself when there is no other way and has enough sense no to throw threats and insults at people that just saved their ass?

Chill, it's a joke... o.O Apparently he's an actor on The Wire and that's what they're joking about.

I'm glad to see many still share my hatred for Andrea. I don't even think anything she did the last couple of episodes was particularly irrational, save for betraying her long time companion and savior for some random dude, but every scene she's in somehow manages to piss me off. Might have something to do with that psychotic smile she carries around throughout this season.
Anyway season 3 has been a lot more enjoyable than season 2 for me thus far.

He seems like a very cool bro, calm intelligent,reasonable... He reminds me of rick before the shane incident.
I think he will actually blend pretty good with rick, bringing him some of his ''humanity'' back. (That's assuming they ever meet but i think that they will )

Holy hell, this season is so good! Infinitely better than last season. I'm glad we only have to wait three months for the next half instead of six like last time.
The show has definitely strayed pretty far from the comics, but I've come to accept and even like that. Things that worked on the page don't always work on the screen and once I learned to look at the show as a separate creative entity I really got hooked on the direction the show is going.
Rick seems to be steadily getting it back together, at least socially. He's definitely still crazy, especially with his PTSD episode in the middle of the raid on Woodbury. Having Lori gone is horrible for him, but it's also allowing him to reconnect with the group since she was the reason he was distancing himself so much. I just wish he could fully reconcile with Carl, who seems to be pushing him away whenever he tries. I just want to see them hug for once and act like father and son. But at least Rick is trying, which is something he didn't seem willing to do before Lori's death.
Carl is a TOTAL bad ass now. I loved the way he handled Tyrese's arrival, and the face that Tyrese referred to him as a man and said it was his house. Awesome. His character is a really interesting study on what would happen to a child who grows up in this kind of world.
The Governor is turning out not nearly as psychopathic as he was portrayed in the comics. He's certainly got some craziness to him, and he's definitely a cold blooded opportunist. He's still evil, but not in the insanely twisted way he is in the comics.
I can't wait for the next season. Three months can't go fast enough!
