granted the other woodbury people came immediately after that and then rick's group, but like if you're going to stab your way out you may as well shoot your way out once you actually procure the gun. Not like they had any plan of holding merle hostage or something.

I pretty much agree, the only reason Michonne doesn't trust the governor is because she snooped around, however, Andrea did not... Andrea just thinks Michonne is a paranoid bitch. Personally, if I was in a Zombie apocalypse and I was stranded, I would join a community of people in a heart beat if it's a chance to return to a somewhat normal life.
I will cop flak for this, but I actually like Andrea more than Michonne because she doesn't make radical claims like Michonne does. Obviously Michonne was right in this instance, however, I still think realistically most people wouldn't be able to piece together the clues Michonne got or at the very least, wouldn't make radical claims concerning them.

Cuz being naive is a good excuse for lack of loyalty? This 'blood thirsty friend' is the only reason you're alive. And her suspicions were all but confirmable with the military scenario but not once did andrea stop to listen to michonne or ask her to explain her situations. She was blinded by this 'eutopia' and lost sight of who should've been her closest ally. Oh then the weird experiments, the walkers being kept for sport, the death arena. All of that aren't red flags that the gov isn't being truthful to her. Fishtanks of heads, zombie penny, etc. All of these still aren't sinking in for her.
And her wanting a safe zone is bs. She's the one who's constantly screaming about put me in coach! Jumping over the barrier just to stab a fucking zombie. Yeah sounds like someone who just wants to sip cognac in woodbury. Her behavior isn't consistent except that she contantly attaches herself to dangerous men of leadership positions to empower her own self who feels she has something to prove, while abandoning the people who care about her most. First dale, and now michonne.
When i try to predict episodes in future i should consider that the most anticipated conflict for the episode will be a cliffhanger for future episodes ^^ I really didnt know about all those smoke and flash grenades they carried with them. Nice method to isolate the prisoner conflict from the merle-daryl conflict. Didnt see that being possible.
So i guess Andrea will redeem herself (a little bit) by somehow helping the brothers to escape and daryl will protect his brother in rick's group. I dunno if they are ready to be killed off the show yet. They just brought Merle back, i guess not to just finish him off for good.
I dunno why so many people hate Carl. I was indifferent about him but i like him this season. I didnt read the comics but im exited for him being one of the leading characters. The farmer girl, the baby and Carl looked like a funny little family. Dunno why they let the prisoner creep up on a 17 year old. Wtf.. hes way too comfortable. He should rather got killed than the black prisoner. I liked him more. But i guess you need some cannon fodder for the upcoming episodes. Its gonna get messy.
I think the break is pleasantly short. 2 month and a week is bearable, especially with christmas inbetween and i got some exams at university. No comparison to breaking bad haha

Yeah, I was going to bring up the michonne/penny scene if someone didn't. I figured Michonne knew full well that penny was a zombie and I thought Michonne just felt sorry for zombie penny because Michonne seems to have a different understanding of zombies. I mean, caged up, tied up and making zombie noises makes it pretty much a dead give away, but remove the mask and its "oh shit, its a zombie."
I liked the scene with Carl and Hershell because Hershell knew it to be true. Carl is growing up to be a badass. If I was one of the ppl in that new group I'd be like who the fuck is this 12 year old and why is he so badass? I also would have let him put a bullet in that chick's head. I mean, the guy says no, we take care of our own, I'll make it quick and he has a fucking ball point hammer in his hand. Sure covering her face in a hankerchief and smashing her face in with a ball point hammer is a much better way to go.
Edit - Oh, something else that bugged me. New group in the beginning is running, one chick gets bit on the arm, instantly goes limp and has to be drug around. WTF? She was running, then gets bit on the arm, and because of that she can instantly barely walk now?

Michonne didnt explain shit to Andrea, all she said was that youre not allowed to leave and then she got completely owned when Merle opened the gate for them. The Governor is obviously not a good guy by any means but hes still good to his own people. He keeps them safe, fed and they can carry on with their lives without having to worry about being eaten alive.
Also Im glad to see that Michone continues being worthless by not speaking... Seriously, say he tried to fucking kill you and that he kidnapped Glenn and Maggie. Is it really that fucking hard?

Agree 100%. Lots of people side with Michonne over Andrea, but I think Michonne is just a suspicious moron. Obviously Andrea is wrong, but she has every right to no be paranoid since the Governor seems like a good bloke. She might change now however since she saw the Television Set and the daughter.

The Governor said they could leave whenever they wanted to, Andrea doesn't know if she leaves she will get killed. Andrea does not feel as though she was held prisoner, in fact, she probably feels like she was saved.

lol yeah, I do think it sounds a bit to elaborate if you ask me. I doubt the governor sat with Merle after his daughter died and said "Merle, Ima pretend to be pissed off with you for lying to me about killing Michonne so you can find this prison camp." I think the governor is blinded with rage atm. I could be wrong though.

They had quite some scenes inbetween. everybody checking in on the governor being alright.. the scientist, andrea and even merle comes in and says: "what happened to you?" governor turns in slowmo showing his bandaged eye. "I got attacked" "They made it over the wall, i go after them in the morning"
and the governor just looks at him super intense like: i blocked you on facebook and now youre going to die! SCREECH SCREECH SCREECH dum da du du du du

I don't think it's a spy thing too, seeing as how he ended up not only losing his fucking eye and his precious wall of fish tank heads, but most importantly he lost Penny, what lots of people implied as the Governor's last tether towards humanity. The look he gave merle when he showed up in the hospital post attack was one of 'you son of a bitch i'm gonna kill you, this is all your fault, you said you'd kill michonne and lied, then you kidnapped glenn and maggie just to try to get your fucking brother back, and now they've launched an attack on us. THIS IS YOUR FUCKING FAULT MERLE.

No, I don't think so, Michonne just took the dude's eye and he is holding Merle responsible because he told the governor she was dead + she led rick's group to woodbury, so none of that would have ever happened had Merle killed Michonne like he said he did. You already saw the episode before the governor was questioning Merle's loyalty because he was the one who told the governor that taking the prison could not be done.
