-All people are infected already and the infection is triggered by death; if you die from any means and the brain isn't damaged, you come back to life.
-People who suffer head trauma, like those in a car crash, won't come back to life.
-It will take between a few mins to 8 hours to reanimate
-Zombie bites cause infections that are 100% fatal. Basically, if you are bitten you WILL die and thus turn into a zombie as well. But it's not the bite that turns you, it's simply the fact that you're already infected by the "virus" which zombifys you when you die.

So I just watched the first two seasons in a couple of days since so many people recommended it. Not the greatest fan so far. Can anybody explain why there are so many zombies? Because for someone to become a zombie, they either need to be bitten and get away, or die a natural death. Since zombies just eat people rather than biting them once, I can't understand why there are so many zombies.

I was also really disturbed by the shows portrayal of women as irrational mindless freaks. For any single problem, you can guess how a male character will react to the issue. But god damn, is it impossible to have consistent female characters?

Oh also, amazing how everyone is a fucking sharpshooter that can nail zombies through the head from moving vehicles lolol.

I'm not sure that is quite true, I mean, just look at 'the bicycle girl' from the first(?) episode and the webisodes, she got chowed down on by a mob of walkers, and had the lower half of her body eaten but she still turned.

Oh and also, if the show will continue anything like the comics, which it seems it will. Trust me, there will be strong women in the show.
