Dale was annoying, Andrea is a bitch. Shane has the right idea but the wrong way to present it (just pointing out the obvious) If Rick starts to listen to Shane a bit more and Carl and Lori get the hell out of the series it's without a doubt probably the best series I've ever seen. | ||

Dale was the moral voice of reason, too bad we won't be hearing his opinion anymore.  Andrea is a hot, blonde, badass, former lawyer chick! 'Nuff said!  Shane was a survivor, but he let this new, cruel, hopeless world get the better of him. :/ I doubt Rick will start to listen to Shane more, considering Shane's fate. Carl and Lori add a lot to the series. They are Rick's family, without them, Rick would probably be dead. They both give him the strength and hope to keep surviving in a hopeless world. If you disagree with the writer's portrayal of them, well then that's a completely different conversation. | ||

The premise is actually pretty good. Take some protagonist who is looking for his family and wants to protect them. Has an ambivalent partner that he considers a good friend. They work together with other people who are trying to survive and have their own reasons and motives. Too bad that I cant help but hate the characters in the show. The main character is the definition of uninteresting. No ambivalence, no interesting background, no character development. Just a white, family loving do-good sherrif with a "charming" accent. His partner is a shady and choleric backstabber. He's just the typical second string. The wife i just want to beat everytime she opens her mouth because she makes no sense and acts like a bitch all the time and the son is just some annoying little kid. The bad thing is that all the other characters seem to be expendable and I have to be stuck with a family that I really don't care about for the next seasons. They should just make a spinoff of Glen and throw the Grimes family under a bus. I liked the characters in the videogame A LOT more. The Protagonist is way more interesting and I actually like the kid in there. The girl is someone you would actually want to help and not curse out everytime for being a liability. I guess im gonna have to read the comics and hope for the best... | ||

i thought the ninja at the end was Daryls older brother, reason why is because he would do something weird like put 2 zombies on chains lol but i guess its not? | ||

Nope. I don't know what happens in the comics so no spoilers from me. What I do know is that its not his brother. I do know who it is (just something I stumbled across, nothing more). Only the name. And jesus christ how do these people always manage to find the most retarded solution to every problem they face? I mean, really? lowering the asian guy into the well to act as life bait for the zombie? did they even fucking try to use a net or something? My only real complaint was season 2 was a little bit slow I think (not enough to not be enjoyable but at times I was thinking like...come on, move it on a bit) but I think that was intentional so looking forward to season 3. Edit: Oh and for anyone unfamiliar with the game, it is worth getitng IMO but definately look it up first to see if it's the kind of thing you'd be interested in as I don't think it'd be right to leave anyone with the impression that it'd be a game for everyone. It's more like an interactive story. | ||

Thanks for posting that, I had forgotten about firing Frank Darabont. My sister finally convinced me to watch. So, over the last 3 days we've marathon'd both seasons. I'm pretty exhausted of television at this point. I really didn't like how the big final episode final moment thing panned out. I hope no one minds that I put it in spoilers- I can see posts on this page that haven't finished the show yet and I don't want to ruin the finale for them. + Show Spoiler + I mean what the fuck. Everyones infected and comes back except all the times they didn't. I don't care if its in the comic books or not, I'm having a lot of trouble reconciling that with all the damn times people died and weren't jammed in the brain and stayed dead anyway. All of a sudden Dale comes back without a scratch, then Shane, and then there's the big reveal that everyone comes back no matter what regardless of bites. I think it's fucking dumb. But it's their show so they can do what they want. I'll definitely watch the third season but I think they're starting to go down hill. Granted, almost every television series in the history of television series goes down hill after the first season | ||
