Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

They're in what is essentially worse than a warzone with high possibility of death ALL AROUND YOU and she's acting like a 14 year old girl rebelling against a curfew? She also apparently lacks any motherly instincts whatsoever? I'm just venting but it's only cause i was so goddamn excited for this show ![]() Yes, the 2nd ep was indeed a major letdown. I really like the zombie concept transposed into a TV series, so that characters get much better fleshed out (no pun intended), but so far, none of them are really interesting or compelling. Expected more from Frank Darabont after watching The Green Mile and The Mist. But hope it gets better.

Motherly instincts come in like episode 3 or 4 if you watched the previews/commercials and when ELSE are you going to have a heart to heart hmmmmm?

True, at first I was going to rant about whoever designed her character to be so retarded (SEXSEXSEXIMATEENAGEGURLNOWAIT IMAGOSOLOINTHEWOODSLOLNVMSEXSEXSEX) but then i realized it's probably the actress being a moron and fucking up another perfectly good character.

Its an end of the world senario and their husband/friend has been gone a WEEK? Who would EVER get so horny to go off into the woods to fuck like rabbits in that situation? Maybe I completely missed something, but where did it ever say that the main character was in a coma for a week ? And.. if it was just a week then the only logical thing I can think of is they were having an affair pre-apocalypse. The two cops were complaining to each other about their respective relationships in the first episode, after-all. I haven't read the comics or anything and have only seen the first two episodes though so that's 100% speculation ![]()

I disagree, if you were in a situation where literally everything about your life was terrifying and depressing wouldn't you relish any opportunity to take your mind somewhere else?
