Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

Maybe I completely missed something, but where did it ever say that the main character was in a coma for a week ? And.. if it was just a week then the only logical thing I can think of is they were having an affair pre-apocalypse. The two cops were complaining to each other about their respective relationships in the first episode, after-all. I haven't read the comics or anything and have only seen the first two episodes though so that's 100% speculation
It was a few weeks, at least.

I disagree, if you were in a situation where literally everything about your life was terrifying and depressing wouldn't you relish any opportunity to take your mind somewhere else? He was in coma for more then one week.
The bigger problem is that the show showed it in a too passionate way. At the comic books she feels guilty all the time. But, anyway, i'm not too concerned about it.

She seemed pretty guilt ridden to me when there was the awkward moment her necklace was visible, and she ended up putting it in the grass with her ring.
People who don't feel any guilt don't do things like that.

Yeah i think its awkward too. So awkward that it makes it kind of unbelievable (even though its a zombie show lol). I was watching the show with my girlfriend (she likes it also, awesome gf i know) and she agreed that the girl was fucked up for sleeping with the guy. a week 4 weeks who cares theres no difference. If my wife died, the mother of my kid, i would fucked another girl that soon out of respect for her....and im a fucking guy. My girl said she wouldnt do it either, and i have a hard time believing anyone would. Thats the only thing i didnt like about the episodes so far..

That's silly, if you believe your significant other is probably dead, and are under severe stress and fighting for survival, your instincts would probably kick in and you need to release that tension. Not to mention finding a strong male helps to protect her and her son. It's natural instinct...
I'm not saying that behavior is good, but it's understandable at least.
As for the show itself I think it is solid so far, but it hasn't fully proven itself to me. We will see how it pans out.

The thing is, even if you did it, you wouldn't do it in a "kinky" way, you know? You would enjoy it, but feel awkward or guilty anyway.
+ Show Spoiler +But anyway, I'm not bothering too much, due to how things end up happenning at the comic

You guys forget (or it is mentioned and I haven't seen it) that she and the officer friendly had troubles before the whole getting-shot-waking-up-zombie-apocolypse happened, who knows they have been doing it way before everything started.
On a different note...this show is awesome, they nail the feeling of being isolated and I think they make the zombies a little more classic, being able to take em one on one but super dangerous in large groups.

Yeah well, when I saw the comic I instantly turned my eyes away not to spoil myself and didn't see what it was, but still it could spoil the first episode for the people that didn't watch the series at all.

Anyone know where to watch episode 3? I know it aired tonight, but I don't have AMC and itunes hasn't posted it up yet =(
EDIT: It hasn't aired yet, I'm retarded -_-

sundays I think.
As an avid reader of the comic, I'm definitely following this series. It's been pretty true to the comic so far...would be pretty sweet if they incorporated some of the artwork in the TV series somehow.

OMG Almost zombie time!

Is there going to be more than just 1 season?
Awesome show there's never enough good zombie movies/series.

Idra would survive since they'd probably mistake him for being one of them already
