Gildartz was definently stronger but blue was on his level

Blue definitely not the bitch people are saying he is. Hades attested to his strength, and Blue was apparently a infamous war criminal before Grimoire.

Damn its been so long since the Tenrou Island arc i almost forgot who bluenote was lol

He was strong enough to make Gildartz be serious but that doesn't mean Gildartz didn't wipe the floor with him.
Gildartz is a lesser version of Hiko Seijūrō from the Kenshin series, too OP to have in the story a lot because he would just solve shit by himself. Gildartz is really powerful there are only a handful of wizards in the entire series who are on his level. Future appearances of him will likely be in comedy/sol type roles or him losing to Zeref to hype the battle for Natsu.
We have incomplete data so there is room for agrument here but I am firmly in the camp that Gildartz is and will remain the most powerful FT wizard until very close to the series when Nastu and company are powering up for the final battle. Others disagree with this since we have had the discussion in the past about Gildartz's place in the power structure, but in my mind he occupies that elder OP character role that often is diverted from most of main conflicts because it removes the drama. Sure the FT kids have closed the gap but he is still king until proven otherwise.
As for his fight with Blue, they basically traded some light jabs as they got a feel for each others power, then Gildartz got gimped by the energy drain while Blue played around and hurt him. Once that was removed and Gildartz got super serious it wasn't close at all. You can't confuse actual ability with how that ability is presented in these types of shows. No one goes 100% right at the start and characters always pull out more power as they assess the fight. Blue was worthy for Gildartz to pull out a greater amount of his power but Gildartz was still vastly superior.

That's a very good comparison! I'd definitely see Gildartz on the same level as Hiko Seijuro. Gildartz is tons stronger than Makarov who is one of the ten wizard saints after all

Grey probably ditched her with comments like "Natsu is getting stronger all the time. I need some tiem alone, you're holding me back. Don't get in the way of my passionate bromance. I've been gay for natsu like sasuke for naruto."
|
Juvia's heart got broken? D:
|
Yea saw that rofl stomp coming from a mile way. Juvia in depression mode again? Guess maybe Grey rejected her hard.

well not that i know
