i like them reestablishing britta as being that annoying friend that trys to tell you things you dont care to hear about before it was being that protest friend, and i think them making her recite bits of psych totally fits i relate to that, really come on we know you took 1 psych class woot knowledge applied now shut up!
I liked this week more than the last two, but this season continues to feel a bit over the top.
Don't get me wrong, community has been doing unrealistic things since season one, but the show episodes don't feel as coherent as they used to.
My favorite episode this season was the competing model UNs. Everything fit together well. Compare that to this weeks episode: evil air conditioning men vs the plumbers, Pierce's dad had an Ivory wig for some stupid reason, Jeff killed someone but no one cares, Pierce loving the gay community (which is so totally out of character). They're abandoned that amazing self referencing humor for oddball jokes. It feels like lazy writing, or more likely, the network trying to get capture a new audience to improve ratings.
Ofc the counter argument to you is that' it's too meta for you and you just dont get it, there are some references in there but not so self referencing XD haha naw i have a feeling the writers are setting things up to be a bit different they are actively moving to a season finiale plot, something that actually matters for once. If you think about alot of these episodes this season they are refreshing the characters giving them more depth and for once they foreshadow on it's own ending introducing the air conditioning annex and actually having episodes that pull back to that here and there so my bet is the season ender will be worth the change in style.
the spotlight isn't for everyone and you have to admit you need a little luck to get into something as stable as a established tv show that you can count on for employment. Success always looks easy
The episode was good. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters it was just kind of silly. It felt like a Community episode but was not one of their great episodes. Glad Shirely and Britta's "debate" was inconclusive I wouldn't want the show to be slanting toward any position, not like the show creators would turn it preachy.
This is sad ... but the way I understand it Community is only temporarily being pulled off the air. It's not being cancelled.
I think the show would do a lot better if it didnt run head-to-head with Big Bang Theory which was much more established when Community came into being.
At least it's not a confirmed cancellation, but not too surprised given the low ratings Community has been getting. Quality series don't always equal high rating
