Because I despise the vocaloid voices, but kind of like the instrumental melody (sometimes), I found a better version of World is Mine for non-vocaloid fans.
Miyabi had such an awesomely powerful voice when she first debuted (This is from their debut concert with W). She even dominates Ai when they sing together, its pretty awesome. I kind of miss that raw harmonica like quality now that her voice has matured.

I listened to yui for a bit a while but had to delete everything of her cause I couldn't bare with the repeating beats and tempos with different tunes slap on top. I started listening to some uverworld recently and I'm hit with thie same problem. Anyone notice this? With so, do you guys like jpop cause you do like listen to the same beat and tempo? Just curious.
*repetitive?
Well... it is pop after all.
On the surface I guess it seems that way, but I think if you dig around you'll find more stuff that interests you. Like, an example of super mainstream pop that isn't afraid of reinventing itself once in a while is Utada Hikaru. So it's not like people aren't receptive to new stuff.
anyways... does anyone have any the pillows gems they'd like to share? I think my favourite is Thank You, My Twilight, but I haven't listened to them that much.
And the best thing is they often do songs in pure English, as well as having many English lyrics in the Japanese songs. They will have a part English mainly Japanese song, and then do a pure English version. JP/Eng Ai no oto. + Show Spoiler +
I got her newest Singles Collection 2 and found this song particularly catchy! Really love all her music and it's a pity she is going on a hiatus/sabbatical.
Recently, I got enlightened by jpop. I love perfume. They're so cute and their songs are good. They're the only idol group I know though. Is there any other groups like Perfume, or like the kpop groups Kara and Orange Caramel?

Nagi/Gazelle, you are the love of my life, although I've never seen you and assume you're ugly because your face is never on any album covers or anything.
