With how this tournaments going, Infamous and JStorm the clear favorites today eh... xd

Who would have thought, VP, EG and Secret would be in the loser bracket round 2 and Liquid would have got eliminated first day. Crazy tournament.

Mineski should win the series and Secret should just crush the series like nothing. Unless stuff goes insane again like these 2 days of playoffs.

Just mute if you found him annoying. You can watch dota without commentary.

Just because you found him annoying doesn't mean others as well. I find this complain comment more annoying in truth as you can do something about your annoyance aka muting.

TL's issues seem separate. What we saw was some big meta shifts between Day 1, Day 2 and then Bracket. To the point that I commented on Day 1, during the first matches, that all 4 had very different approaches to the patch. What we've seen is which way the meta is shifting and it went Strong Lanes into hitting a rather early timing.

Frankly, it looks a lot like what the Minor's meta was, which isn't too surprising, but maybe the fact Day 1 looked so different from the Minor was the actual outlier. That early-ish Roshan is also critical right now. That's the reason a lot of the hard carries aren't working well, as you don't have Roshan dead to win that important fight.

But i dont get how there has been such a huge shift to "blindside" the top teams. There has been so much data on the patch due to WESG and the Minor right? Add in the healthy amounts of scrims you can get in as all the top teams have been in Europe a while.

Oh well, still should be great games of Dota now thanks to a stacked lower bracket and the Chinese teams all competing with Fnatic in the upper bracket now.

I mean this isn't the first time the "top teams" got upset by a bunch of teams on the same competing field in important matches. Also the chinese scene tends to be the strongest as TI comes to close. 1-2 of them slowly becomes a contender for TI title.

Besides you only stay a top team so long as you are dominating. If you stop doing that then well you aren't anymore.

Don't worry about it too much Pandemona. The time is still long till TI.

The teams that got upset all won on Day 1. We got Meta changes into Day 2 and then Days 3/4. TI contenders are always the ones that make the shift from Group to Bracket, and, sometimes, you just don't catch it.

It also should be noted that the teams upset are #1-3 in the DPC and are all going to TI already. They might not have prepared quite as well with an extra day off.

Any time I see Demon, I can never quite forget the TNC over OG match at TI6. Which only happened because of two clutch Classic Jimmy throws in Groups that sent Wings to the Bracket and TNC into lowers.

J. Storm one game away from a Top8-finish. Wonder if we will see the Lifestealer again, that was a flawless game from Moo with the perfect itemization against Morph.

Would also be notable as their first (!) Bo3 win in a Major ever with the current team, even with MiLAN.

Secret vs INF is basically unimportant we already know how that goes (ok so VG upset Secret but VG is alooot closer to secret's level than INF ever was)

Yeah, two matches tomorrow and Wednesday as well. And then no games until they play out the top 6 on Saturday/Sunday.

edit: kind of an unusual schedule, but I'm not complaining because I get to actually watch a grand finals for once

I really thought Mineski had a straight-up draft win here. I was not at all convinced by the MK pick and loved the last pick Clinkz.

Shows what I know.

Why did moo go echo sabre into BF? That seems a bit weird, why not Echo into Malestrom then Mjolnir? That second item BF is super weird for me.

J.Storm just surpassed TnC and Liquid on DPC with that, so looking better for their TI chances.

Was Mineski really favoured over J.Storm? I thought they were even, not like Mineski was that impressive either.

Also Moo's been having one hell of a carry tournament with some insane stats.

Except for the medalliom which didnt make sense at all. He had midas, armlet, radiance and manta. His next item was solar crest. He could have basher, ac, deso or even butterfly but he made solar crest which will kill him if he used under the debuff of amplify by sladar. At that point of the game, dp , morphling and sladar had bkb which doesnt work with solar crest.

Anyway the first game was Moon fucked up during the push when they had aegis on morph and refresher on dp. Moon decided to tp back in the middle of teamfight to defend their top lane.
2nd game was clinkz pick which is really horrible in current meta.

Overall i can see Moon get replaced for better mid since he fucked too often in his proffesional career. Anyone remember when he deny aegis on his storm spirit.
