With how this tournaments going, Infamous and JStorm the clear favorites today eh... xd
Who would have thought, VP, EG and Secret would be in the loser bracket round 2 and Liquid would have got eliminated first day. Crazy tournament.

I'm so much done with Slacks, jeez, this guy is super annoying :<

Mineski should win the series and Secret should just crush the series like nothing. Unless stuff goes insane again like these 2 days of playoffs.

Just because you found him annoying doesn't mean others as well. I find this complain comment more annoying in truth as you can do something about your annoyance aka muting.

TL's issues seem separate. What we saw was some big meta shifts between Day 1, Day 2 and then Bracket. To the point that I commented on Day 1, during the first matches, that all 4 had very different approaches to the patch. What we've seen is which way the meta is shifting and it went Strong Lanes into hitting a rather early timing.
Frankly, it looks a lot like what the Minor's meta was, which isn't too surprising, but maybe the fact Day 1 looked so different from the Minor was the actual outlier. That early-ish Roshan is also critical right now. That's the reason a lot of the hard carries aren't working well, as you don't have Roshan dead to win that important fight.

But i dont get how there has been such a huge shift to "blindside" the top teams. There has been so much data on the patch due to WESG and the Minor right? Add in the healthy amounts of scrims you can get in as all the top teams have been in Europe a while.
Oh well, still should be great games of Dota now thanks to a stacked lower bracket and the Chinese teams all competing with Fnatic in the upper bracket now.

I mean this isn't the first time the "top teams" got upset by a bunch of teams on the same competing field in important matches. Also the chinese scene tends to be the strongest as TI comes to close. 1-2 of them slowly becomes a contender for TI title.
Besides you only stay a top team so long as you are dominating. If you stop doing that then well you aren't anymore.
Don't worry about it too much Pandemona. The time is still long till TI.

The teams that got upset all won on Day 1. We got Meta changes into Day 2 and then Days 3/4. TI contenders are always the ones that make the shift from Group to Bracket, and, sometimes, you just don't catch it.
It also should be noted that the teams upset are #1-3 in the DPC and are all going to TI already. They might not have prepared quite as well with an extra day off.

Any time I see Demon, I can never quite forget the TNC over OG match at TI6. Which only happened because of two clutch Classic Jimmy throws in Groups that sent Wings to the Bracket and TNC into lowers.

Mineski making a 10k gold lead look irrelevant in team fights
|
mski looks more likely to win even with a 10k disadvantage
edit: mksi making me look like a fool lol

this is a pretty good game

Lifestealer's Nullifier is really smart. Basically destroys Morphling
|
Also did Oracle stop the Lasso even once? Maybe someone should have invested in a Linkens or Lotus...

J. Storm one game away from a Top8-finish. Wonder if we will see the Lifestealer again, that was a flawless game from Moo with the perfect itemization against Morph.
|
Only two matches today? Huh.

Bo3 win in a Major ever with the current team, even with MiLAN.

Secret vs INF is basically unimportant we already know how that goes (ok so VG upset Secret but VG is alooot closer to secret's level than INF ever was)
