I hope Liquid doesnt disappoint their fans today. Its bo1 and anything can happen. Anyway in game 3 last secret game, midone should have bought bkb instead of ghoststaff. Paparazi's morphling played like a madman.
This year might be the year of chinese. They seems to "wake up". Keen play so aggressive and VG is so flawless.

I have the same hunch but this is the same format every major has, isn't it ? I agree first round bo1 is unfortunate, but the format overall is fine imo.

You never hit that stage without losing 2 Bo3. A single elimination format would have them out of the tournament 2 series ago.
I think a format that allow you to lose 4 games (at minimum) before even being near elimination is pretty lenient. It becomes worse in the upper bracket where you have fewer chances.
Excited for the matches today. Much much less predictable than the matches yesterday.
Also eg vs Kg should be exciting.

Not fan of the GSL format for dota2 as well honestly but this situation would be avoided if liquid actually won against KG which they didn't.
They lost fair and square in a b03 as regardless of the format winning is still a prerequisite.
Didn't pay attention to FWD's games earlier this event but seemingly they've switched around MSS and Universe so now MSS is actually their offlane player

I really want that roster changes by this time around. The current competitive setup is abit predictable at this point. I want the none- top 3-4 teams to roster change to shake up things and make TI really unpredictable.
I know that when TI comes close the teams tend to be more erratic as sometimes the dominating ones stops dominating and the teams who are out of the picture just suddenly has a surge on TI.
But judging from the look of things. It has been abit precitable this year when it came to results. It may continue till TI.

How was FWD that bad? I have never such a low impact lion ever. You hex, stun, suck and finger. Thats one dead dude. Do that every 80 seconds, you get map domination. Its like FWD content for NiP to farm and take roshan for free twice. Theres not much pressure at all in the game. Its like they are waiting for something to happen and when it happened they just lost.

It felt like they were on a low morale. It looked good at some point of the game for them but ultimately NIP just played their game and crushed them.
