VGJ now on the easier side of the bracket and most likely will play the winner of EG/fnatic in the finals.

I don't think that's gonna happen; I'm pretty sure that Na'Vi has a TI invited lined up. It's waaaay too difficult to score points at this state of the year, and there's only majors left basically.

It's actually hard to imagine Na'Vi getting a TI invite unless they somehow become good.

We'll see; I feel like the concentration of talent this year is almost as high as it's ever been; I just don't see it being likely that a team that's not in the top 5 or 6 gets points at a major the rest of the year

which is what the schedule is going to be like pretty soon. Between now and june 1st, for example, there's 1 week without a DPC event LAN going on. I agree that if every tournament was Newbee/VP/Liquid/Secret then they'd win all the points, but that's simply not the case and especially will be LESS the case going forward as teams opt out of the crazy "tournament every week" approach.

But there's soooo much money to be won on the competitive circuit right now I feel like it would be kinda dumb for these teams to miss these tournaments; plus I don't think you want to get rusty going into TI.
