I have to imagine the team that comes from the Liquid / Secret game is a huge favorite to win this.

It might be true for THIS tournament, but I was at the Kiev Major last year and I really fell in love with the fans there. Yes VP (and Reso) got the biggest cheers but they cheered for everyone... LOUD. Hopefully I get the chance to go back sometime, had a blast.

Itemization of Secret's cores will also be interesting. I guess at least Linkens looks very tasty for Weaver, so not getting Deso on Weaver looks like a decent choice, which means TA can get it to farm super quickly. At least spamming sentries in lane will be super effective, so I dont expect BH to get a lot done in terms of anything but grabbing a couple of bounty runes... Also that play by miracle on fb looked weird.

They needed to BKB on TA earlier (I don't really blame him for going MKB but still), or linkens on weaver to apply to TA. They didn't wait for any of those and just kept feeding

Harder said than done. ye super hard when the doom is tanking af and the weaver was dirt poor puck was their only teamfight, and without him they basically had nothing i felt liquid was going to always win at some point with a massive team fight only way secret would win is getting 2-4 racks advantage from no bbs from liquid

They got so much out of that gem, and they played so cool after 0-7, pure bliss. Jesus, they can play dota.

I mean I get that he's obv listening to the russian cast, so I get that the synchronization between English casters and the obs suffers a bit automatically, but it's a tad bit much..Production would really benefit from an obs that is listening in to the English Broadcast that is streamed on the English stream. Edit: And again just now when Ember gets fiends gripped in mid. Anyway, this game is bonkers, really loving it so far!

Also, Mski already won few games as Icex3 on NS as core.

His job in this game was to find and kill GH before echo OR to prevent pugna from doing anything with interrupts and silences, which he did a really good job of! I like the NS core against a Pugna core.

I like the NS core against a Pugna core. Yeah, he never is actual damage dealer, but fast BKB on him makes fights against his team a living hell to play. Uses Darkness, pops BKB, dives one hero that can't get away nor do anything. He is like a bit different version of Doom, that farms slower but has more utility with constant slows, silences and vision that he provides. Also, core NS will be much higher level within first 2 nights than roamer NS, and that makes him a lot more deadly.

Mineski getting steamrolled by numbers advantage due to MC tping around. Don't see any chance of comebacks unlike game 1 when Liquid still has a good chance because of earthshaker's initiations.
