I like both OG and TnC, but I think OG takes this 2-0

hopefully teams will start banning sand king after seeing him shut down the safelaner and have influence incredibly late into the game AGAIN. I think EG would do well picking it up as well; it would give zai or universe another powerful hero to play.

These teams are better than any team that played even last year, let alone two or three TI's ago. Yeah, it's just that in the old days without the comeback mechanics you needed huge throws to change a game's outcome past a certain point. I remember a stat that before the changes, a 10 k gold lead at 25 minutes had like a 95% winrate at the time.
There are more combacks therefore the teams look sloppier. But it's not true.

edit : oh wait he was not on the TI squad, it's late here.

Alchemist sort of fucks it up, however.

I am not even kidding, pretty much everyone on EG has a lost a whole thousand of MMR since TI5. Universe was almost 8.5k during TI5, ffs.

alright boys, Jimmy and the TNC boys vs Tal and OG is up next
i know the odds are against TNC (OG is amazing and did handle TNC very well in groups) but i hope they at least provide some entertaining games

I can understand to a point. Farming with your illusions while you are at base feels good. But after feeding literally 5 aghs... Also these feeded aghs was not even necessary. I mean.. Skywrath aghs sucks. Naix aghs just for fun. Oracle good to a point. Feeding himself somewhat acceptable...
Also i hate new shiva trend too. Alch isn't the best late game carry but going "caster" with alch is the ultimate absurdity.

Wow PPD "all the europeans losing and us against China again"

The amount of mistakes is an incredibly faulty way to evaluate the level of play anyway. In general the more you try to do and the faster you try to play the easier it is for the game to become a bit messy. Also one thing imo that contributes to how games look is how supports have new items they can go for and how they can get more gold, which makes getting clean initiations harder.

Clear proof the north american dota 2 region has gotten stronger and is able to keep up with EG in pubs, more slots are needed for na.
