Wings tosses out some odd combinations, but if you analyze them, they make sense. Wings is the anti-LGD. They're really bad at holding high-ground, so they never draft that way. They want to win the laning early and be very aggressive. But they're also not a team to draft true snowballing Cores. (If they did, they'd lose a whole lot more.) It makes sense what they're doing, but at the "major" tournaments, they're going to come out weaker. When the teams are really well prepared, they can play against Wings and not get caught off guard. Because of the way Wings play, they're about the worst type of team to face in a Bo1 situation with low prep-time. But, once you get into a really delayed, situation like the Major/TI, that advantage can be removed. They're a tier 1 team these days, but they'll always just be a wild-card.

None of those guys have played at a single TI, give them some time, their results are more than promising.
