It's not too surprising. 2k players have a hard time identifying where enemy wards are.
It's not even finding the Wards. They put a ward at the top Dire Tier 1 because that was the only one left and the most logical place for OG to go. Lo & behold, that's exactly where they went.
Newbee burns their wards pretty early when they start their ganking rotations. As we've gotten to see a lot of their play, they're rotations are pretty straight forward. They've found a really effective timing to rotate that hits around when most of their core Supports & Carry picks hit their first power peaks.
It's really clean play, which is why it seems odd that the other teams haven't adapted to it. (Though, Newbee did finally throw a wrinkle in game 2 against Complexity with a full-ganking approach.)
Though, for saying all that, it's probably just easy to point out that Kpii not playing trash-tier dota really was the biggest help. Dude was BAD against OG the first time & Alliance.

His bat was still mediocre in game 1.
as much as his bat fails big time in 1st game gotta give credit to 9K MMR his invoker moved so fast that it baited bat's dagger + firefly into fail
