Idk morph can right click pretty hard lategame. yea but he's alone. ns no damage, abaddon no damage, puck's all magic vs 2 bkb buying cores. even a significant part of morph's damage is magical. Yeah, but he is going to right click buildings. well now he is cuz dk decided to fight the abaddon at 10 mins in the game instead of right clicking buildings himself. At that point VP was already desperate because they were getting outfarmed hard and couldn't do anything in the game kill count was even, they were even in towers and all they had to do was turn around and not go for the abaddon. see where eg pushes next and do the same on the other side. dk and chen push much faster than what eg had. the only advantage eg had was more farm on morph and puck which granted, was a big deal at that point when the abaddon is super strong and even the cm is relevant. later on tho, that farm advantage would just kinda make up for the fact they had an abaddon and a cm and there's still a 40 min game going on.

Will OG break the streak? I mean it could happen but og are pretty clearly the weakest of the top 4 imo Not much tells me that OG is weaker than EG to be fair

Gyro is a good example, of course he is strong in a 5v5 fight where he gets to run in with his BKB on and pop flak, but that isn't really going to happen. Instead Morph is going to shotgun him and he will have to run away, pop BKB prematurely, Morph will just go back and re-engage when appropriate. Not to mention that it's not just Morph.
It's Veil+Puck Burst+Dagon+Shotgun on anyone out of BKB, which is more than enough to kill a 6-slotted Gyro (who can't even Satanic health back because of Eth Blade) or even DK.

Liquid might have a shot against EG I think Newbee will win from OG, definitely in a Bo3, if they win I think its off some really smart pocket strat or drafting.

They 4-0'd Alliance and lost 1-2 to Liquid.

Newbee will overcome OG 2-0.
Just because OG are shit without Phoenix&ESpirit.

Considering how Liquid has been playing, that's pretty respectable.

Are EG really that much better? I don't know, they look a bit shaky still after the roster change. Liquid/Nwebee are my top 2 this tournament so far, the rest are way more muddied.

lol Newbee doesn't have to hatepick Phoenix
they will pick it themselves.

Group A featured the 3 most roster stable teams, while Group B featured the 3 struggling teams after reshuffles. Somehow some feel EG looks stronger than OG after getting 2nd in the special Olympics.

And they also love ESpirit for same reason.
So ban/pick for both is certain in this series.
Also wisp will be contested too.

someone saying that "Kaka phoenix egg against EG was pure luck" in 3... 2... 1...

What a great event so far, good personalities, good games, and smooth production. It has kept me away from Netflix these evenings.

There is no evidence really that shows EG > OG atm. But teams evolve from event to event and during them, it's a bit hard to say confidently either way. Newbee and TL are the favorites for the upper bracket matchups but I wouldn't say either of them is onesided enough that it would be a massive surprise if the other team wins.

I hope VP don't take beating shit Secret and taking a game off meh EG as a sign that the team can work.
Shocking, actually, how big the discrepancy in level of play between upper bracket and lower bracket teams was this event.

I certainly didn't expect OG to look as strong as they did vs Alliance and Liquid, so maybe it's still a bit surprise in there? Would have probably said OG the weakest out of the 4 as well but after thinking about it for a couple secs you have to admit they looked lots better than EG. And not just a tiny bit.

This "evidence" is called ppd's drafting, lol.

I think EG looks stronger then OG but thats because I feel like Notail is fairly inconsistent and they rely on Miracle and Moon to make stuff happen most often.
then again, sometimes its Sufail.
